Uranium
For: I wanna be the Turbo Killer
Three platforming screens, one boss. As the maker says.
You might notice from the name that this game used Carpenter Brut's musics.
These musics are cool, but the game was not.
Platforming screens had a lot of issues(lack of saveblockers which you can exploit a hell out of it, terrible water physics, etc) and the boss fight was boring.

Uranium
For: Not Another Needle Game
The volume of the game is vast.
The difficulty is well-balanced(mostly).
All the Gimmicks are unique and well-executed.
The musics are awesome.

I never got so passionate by playing a needle game. I think this is the needle game at its best.

For: I wanna be the Overlord
I gotta say it first, I do think this is a very well-made game. I'll put this here since I feel like I'll criticize a lot down there.

I heard about this game a lot, being the first fangame of the maker that is really great. So I gave it a shot, eventually finishing this game. Overall it's a great fangame, but I had a decent amount of frustration during this game.

The main reason of my frustration was the fact that there are WAY too much pathfinding imo. Every key items you get gives you literally no description except the Ocarina. I can't remember these items' effect even when I beat the whole game. I think the maker tried to give a hint since there's usually a way to use these items right away, but the problem still remains. You have to find where to go to use the item you just obtained and for me, it almost took more than fighting bosses/doing platforming. I guess it's a necessary thing for a metroidvania game, but I just thought it was too much.

There were more things which I disliked like some of the stages' gimmick and some puzzles, but I think that's based from my anti-puzzling nature so I'll skip it.

Still, I had a pretty good experience from the game. The bosses were good and musics are great. I liked the rings that can change your shot style(pretty sad that guns just increase your damage though). Leveling only increases your attack, but what else you need in a fangame?

Overall a great game, but some flaws keeps me from giving it 8~9/10.

For: Not Another Magic Tower Game
This review is based on the version 0.998_sp2.

This game is one of my favorite games. I got softlocked for 3~4 times when I was first playing it, but somehow I kept playing from the start because it was still fun.

However, I recommend you to look for the guides first because it's still a game that is very easy to get softlocked. Blind playthrough can be VERY harsh.

Now I'll look at the parts of the game and write my thoughts.

Platforming is all manageable for experienced players, there's nothing like a nightmarish jump that takes a few hours or something. There's Corners, Planes, 16pxs, Ledges, etc.

Puzzling in this game takes quite a portion of the game. Starting from the Key system that makes you to save them as many as possible, Hidden walls(Which is crucial to save a lot of keys), Minigames(Bubble stages, Echoshift), and Secrets. I personally don't enjoy puzzling that much, but I think most of them are well made.

Enemy fights(excluding bosses for now) are mostly great, but there are some parts of the game when you have to fight them with low damage output. I personally hated that part the most. Also some of the fights are heavily RNG-dependant (Sword master for example) and some of the fights might be tedious because of the boring part they have(Giant bat, Super FASF, Dark Lord for example). Other than these, the fights are mostly unique and fun.

Finally, the bosses. This part might be the reason why this game is one of my favorite. I'll write my opinion about every one of the bosses.

- Yaranaika
~3 minute avoidance, actually quite of a challenge even though it's technically a first boss. This boss can give you some nasty RNGs in some of the patterns, which makes it even harder since it's already 3 minutes long. I think this is a medium-difficulty avoidance.

- FaShiLiu
A boss that forces you to no-miss it, since you'll die in one hit no matter how much health you got at that point. It is heavily inspired by Geometry Dash and VVVVVV. Pretty easy boss if you get the hang of it, but you'll have quite a hard time learning it when you're playing it for the first time.

- 3B6
A.K.A. Bad Ending boss. It goes like some Touhou avoidance. One pre-pattern, one spell card following. At the final phase, they all joins together and use one pre-pattern and three spell cards. I think it's a boring boss, since the bullet speed is quite slow and there are a lot of patterns(10 total). However, I don't think this boss is the worst since...

- Faro
...this boss exists. Alright, I know there are people who like this boss. However, it's just unbearable to me. This boss one-hit-kills you like FaShiLiu, but you can tank one hit if you got the item from Side Tower. This boss is mostly concentrated on Minigames and osu! parts, which are both bad for me. I hate minigames part since it can be a chokefest. Osu! parts can be pretty okay, but it gets really boring if you play that part hundreds of times. Other than these two parts, it's just an average-difficulty avoidance.

- Mr.Pica
Spade of the Devas, with fast-paced patterns. It's at the harder side of the Devas in terms of difficulty. It can toss you some nasty RNGs, but I think this boss is fun to play.

- Mr.Diamante
Diamond of the Devas, with its iconic charging pattern. It might be relatively easier than the other Devas(except for Corazone), but still can be very tricky. This boss is very enjoyable for me because of its unique patterns(and probably because of that fancy diamond-shaped bullets).

- Mr.Corazone
Heart of the Devas, which is also the shortest of the Devas. That one pattern before his final phase can wall you a lot. This boss is worst of the Devas for me(also I saw some people considering this the worst boss), but still better than Faro.

- Mr.Trebole
Club of the Devas, which is also one of the hardest(with Pica). Long avoidance, mostly patterned attacks. I like this boss since I feel so great when I dodge these precise patterns.

- 4B6
Better version of Crimson TFB(TLB) imo. They all have a specific attack PLUS specific effect that makes you harder to dodge(Red - Darker sight, Blue - Smaller platforms, Yellow - Larger snow effects, Green - Faster platform speed). I think this is a great boss that requires a proper strategy and right decision at the same time(also more fast-paced than Crimson, which I like a lot).

- The Tower Lead
Epic boss. This boss starts out with some tricky RNG patterns, then the enemies you have fought, then his true form. You can even say this boss sums up most of the enemies(of course, not perfectly). Personally I think this is the best boss in the game.

- Fapple
Colonel in NAMTG!! It lives up to its sprite. He is an extra boss that is hidden in Secret 3. You have a dot hitbox in this fight, but that means his patterns are even more harsh. It might seems like it is almost impossible to dodge some of his patterns, but they're a bit easier than it really looks. I think this is a fun boss actually.

Overall, this game has a lot of memorable and fun fights/bosses and great musics that makes you want to play this game even more. I recommend you to try it if you're experienced in I wanna fangames.

Uranium
For: I wanna be the Best Guy 4
The final game of the Best Guy series. It also has a hard mode which is called Lv.8 like BG2's Crazy mode and BG3's Death Wish, but I won't include it in the Difficulty and Review. I would give this 75~85 if I add Lv.8.

This game has an Achievement system. The bottom 10 of them are actually secret items in the game(rolled paper) and it gives you a special ability if you equip it.

Also this game has a sliding feature and succeeds the fulljumping mechanic from the previous game.

Stage 1 : You'll notice that the style of the game has changed a lot, from 'mostly needle' game to 'mostly enemy-killing' game. Notable thing in this stage are a mini-boss(giant crab) and sandstorm gimmick. The sandstorm gimmick is cool for me, but some people might consider it boring.
Boss 1(Sandworm) : This boss is actually pretty tricky, especially its 'train' pattern. But other than that it's a relatively easy boss.
Stage 2 : Ninja crabs falling from the sky! Also there's a part where you bounce on the giant worms and progress. Overall a pretty decent platforming.
Boss 2(Stalker) : Most 'meh' boss imo. It's bland for me. If you die at its last pattern, there's a special death animation & music at there.
Stage 3 : Creepy stage with...cockroaches? Also mad crows and bowling nests. Can't forget these big stones! Use a rocket launcher to deal with big stones in case you don't know how to get past that. Pretty hard stage for me. In the end, there is a destroyed town and a woman, and......
Boss 3(Tombstone) : Suddenly one giant tombstone is in front of your face. The weakness is its yellow core at the top, but you can choose to stay down and rocket spam its body. Mostly a decent boss. Yellow side sweeping attack will be a pain if you can't slide well.
Stage 4 : Castle with a lot of armored guards. This stage is the hardest of all stages. However, if you find some secret paths, you might have a more comfortable time here. Notable things are the mini-boss and that long climbing final part which is totally a pain.
Boss 4(Altace) : This boss is the boss that is most dependant on RNG. Her blue bomb is VERY tricky to handle. Also, the five horizontal-moving bullet wall is pretty hard to react if you're at the wrong position. Overall a hard boss.
Final stage : Nothing that much special, just a bunch of mediocre platforming. I liked that crystal jumping part though.
Final boss(Counterfeit) : He's back again! For final this time. He has THREE health bars and his defense goes up each time one depletes. Also, in the process of depletion, he summons 1 and 2 clocks. If you don't break it until it circles full one cycle, you'll instantly die. It usually breaks with 4 rockets. He summons one of the past bosses' pattern in the middle of the fight which was pretty cool considering this is the last series. He also keeps his unique final pattern, but with the 2 clocks and occasional screen flipping. Overall a hardest counterfeit in the entire series, excluding the hard mode versions of the series.

After you defeat him, Altace finally warps you back home. Thus ends the Best Guy series.

Overall a great game which I enjoyed very much. This is a par to BG3 in terms of enjoyment. However it gets extra .5 point for the awesome graphics.

Thank you Gustav for making the Best Guy series!
