With the Twourney week over, I went through the game again with Naloa and we updated/nerfed some problem areas throughout the game, fixed all known bugs and two skips, and made one of the gimmicks more intuitive. Plus we added a few various things like an autosave on floor 81, slightly buffing one or two of the free saves in the 90s to be more interesting, and reworking 98 to be more fun.
Be aware I also updated the engine name to not be default so that it doesn't share saves with other games that didn't update their engine/filename. This means the new version is not compatible with old version saves!
The download link is the same, just posting here so people know there was an update!

Very fun Uhuhu-like needle game. A few moving objects, and some minor gimmicks like sideways platforms and triggers. Good difficulty curve - it got tougher over time but stayed fun. The only save I wasn't a big fan of was the very final save, with a certain platform jump near the end of the segment becoming responsible for about a quarter of my overall playtime.
I would recommend to anyone wanting to chill out with some needle and play some interesting jumps without awkward gimmicks.

Hi, Kermit thee Frog here. I truly appreciate all the love this game and series has gotten over the years. If you are looking for even *more* challenge from this game, Marc recently created a hard-mode version (less saves and a tweak here or there to go with it) - as the original version wasn't set up properly for hard+ modes.

Great adventure game. Pretty much all the platforming is oldschool needleventure with some traps mixed in, plus moving objects and some cycles. On the Easy version there is a lot less challenge than Normal, and the rooms can feel a bit too empty at times, but it's still enjoyable. Even to me some of the bosses seem a bit too nerfed - such as the flashing MS Paint boss and the cannon avoidance, which are totally doable in 2-5 attempts even for mediocre boss players who haven't seen them before.
There are some bosses that some people might find questionable, but even the biggest offender to most (Jazz Hands Demon), I still found exciting even when getting terrible RNG on hand availability. It's just a pleasure to play - all the attacks meld well and turn into what is a great boss challenge for novice boss players without ever being unfun.
My biggest gripe with this game is the final boss. At least as someone who isn't good at bosses, even with checkpoints, phases 1 and 2 are both terrible in my opinion. In phase 1 at half HP it feels like pure randomness on whether you get 2 attacks at once that destroy you, or if you catch two attacks that actually blend together well into good gameplay. Then phase 2 is just full of attacks that can either be free and let you get good damage, or just completely screw you. Phase 3 on the other hand feels like a great final phase and I do enjoy that part a lot.
Overall I'd say it's a great game, though I honestly prefer the Normal version, even as a self-proclaimed mediocre player. The challenge in Normal is worth playing for sure (up to Final Boss). For either version of the game you play though, I'd say there's no shame in quitting on the final boss if you're just not having a good time. The other 95% of the game is a lot of fun and deserves the playthrough whether you finish or not.
