Sheepness
Adventure fangames tend to have a lot of unnecessary fancy bullshit to the point where it just becomes oversaturated. However, IWBTCrimson doesn't have any complicated gimmicks or superfluous flashy graphics, just normal fangame platforming mechanics, integrated in a satisfying manner (such that every screen is memorable by themselves), set in many different environments that makes it really feel like you're progressing through the adventure.
