This game is hard to put into words. It starts out seeming like a standard platforming + avoidance game, but with every new stage you play, it spirals a little bit more into insanity.

Tutorial:
It's quite lengthy and has one screen in particular that I actually struggled with because the traps were so "creative." It also features the final boss of the game because the maker never finished the full thing and presumably slotted it in there for testing purposes. Beating the final boss allows you to not have to play any of the other stages, but you have the option to just walk by it without clearing.

Stage 1:
Mostly simple triggers with some strange warp that takes you to a copy of the same room but with about half the triggers removed and more needle. Not sure why you'd ever choose to do that room because it is quite a bit harder. First boss is pretty easy and really fun.

Stage 2:
More triggers, this time a bit less clever, but now it adds gravity flippers. The boss of this stage is probably my favorite in the game. Good song, and some really interesting attacks. One of them is a little hard to figure out because you need to collect the bouncing red cherries to turn them green and disable them, but it's real neat once you understand how it works.

Stage 3:
More simple platforming with triggers and one save that made me think I softlocked. If you encounter the same issue, there is an invisible block somewhere to the left of the savepoint with the giant spike wall. The third boss is where the game starts to get a little questionable. It has a dragon/butterfly enemy that you can shoot, but shooting it does very little in terms of actual damage. The boss also has attacks with green cherries that don't kill you. The final attack is unimaginably stupid and you either need to pray for the GOD RNG or actually figure out how it works. Normally shooting Miku makes her spawn a ring of cherries, but for the final attack, she is fully vulnerable and has 39 HP. You need to kill her before the attack finishes or you're dead, but if you shoot too quickly, the i-frames completely break and make it so you can't actually win.

Stage 4:
The platforming involves a tower that you have to climb up and then go back down, followed by another tower with cherries and a moving platform instead. The boss features an attack that doesn't kill you along with some cool stage movement. The second screen has a seemingly random tile in the center that is only there to indicate a safespot for an otherwise difficult pattern. Upon beating it, there is a trap in the bottom right that you avoid by waiting and going to the top right instead.

Stage 5:
Water platforming with a Miku miniboss in the middle. I somehow managed to glitch the miniboss by shooting it which killed her and ended the fight extremely early. No idea how to recreate that bug, though. The stage 5 avoidance starts out with "Deep Sea Girl" but then MEMES YOU and switches to another song. To survive the song switch, you need to get to the top right where the text box isn't. Kinda cool avoidance but with another weird final attack. Every giant cherry bounces back and hits Miku, but in this case it's bad if she dies, so you need to protect her by shooting each of them twice. I really like the idea of this avoidance, but once again there is no indication of what the ending is supposed to be. I also for some reason didn't get the clear item first time through.

Stage 6:
This stage is an experience that I don't want to ruin for anyone else. Play it for yourself to truly understand quality fangame design. Hint: if you are stuck, sacrifice yourself to the Miku gods. The start of the second avoidance has a textbox that kills you, and the only way to survive is by typing "M-I-K-U" on your keyboard before it pops up. Doing that at any other point in the game spawns a textbox that kills you and is supposedly a debug key according to the readme.

I really don't think I can recommend this game even though stage 6 is true fangame ascension. I had a good time playing this, but I sure don't think most other people would.

What a hidden gem. I give thanks to Wolsk for the in-depth analyze on each stage. I personally felt the stages were blah but I was in it for the avoidance hence the games name practice Durability. Each stage has an avoidance boss that you can play in any order and the stages are short so its not hard to make it to the avoidance. I'd recommend.
