Great, long, challenging, fun and really iconic in any way fangame. For everyone who wants truly hard challenge, this is №1 pick, despite all flaws, debatable areas and bosses, it still a high-tier class game, which changed fangames forever. The rewarding feel of beating it is irreplaceable

Ok i guess i also wanna, just for fun, review my thoughts about content of the game (wanna say that i clear any% without taking secrets, all of the secrets and secret bosses was grind after defeating final boss) :

Stage 1 - not a bad opening of the game, CTBG 1 screen is good roadblock for beginners who randomly got in this game. In general, i didn't really enjoy this stage, but it's fine
Secret 1 - it was quite okay, i like entrance, but i really dislike exit with backtrack. Item is not that useful
Crimson, secret boss - i have fun with this one! Mostly people dislike this boss, but i'm fan of Crimson-like concept and this boss execute it quite well. But i must say i have this opinion on boss, while not using counting strat, with counting strat this boss is probably way more boring and unfun
Boss 1 (Flandre Scarlet) - good boss, Crime & Punishment slaps, mushrooms are fun

Stage 2 - introducuing a lot of gimmicks, this stage really got this right. A lot of good choices like Payment, Crayon, Magnanimity. This is a stage where i started to really enjoy needle in this game
RNG Crystal - glorious gamedesign decision
Secret 2 - sucks in many ways (escpecially save 2), althought it has strongest item in the game. Entrance was pure gold tho
Destination, secret boss - banger Destination-like boss. It has 3 phases for each color and since HP are balanced, this fight is insanely dinamic and feels really cool to grind. White phase has a dick moment, but it's tolerable. Very very fun boss after all
Boss 2 (Shine & Bright) - one of the most enjoyable bosses ever maded. Dice is awesome and beyond like everything, phases of S&B was memorable and fun to takedown them, Rosegear avoid is cool. Ez S-tier

Stage 3 - a lot of players hate it, but i'm really okay with stage 3. It starts not greatly, but once you get to Uhuhu Spike 3 things are getting better. Justice, Hope the End Of, RZ, Guy Tower was absolutely bangers choices, and Refresher Save is like one of my favourite save in the entire personal needle experience
Secret 3 - weakest secret in the game. Entrance was all right, secret itself was pretty bad - save 2 is garbage as well as last save. Drop save and ascent save was fun tho. Item is absolutely useless
Nue, secret boss - very bad boss. In 1.5 this boss has insanely buffed attack - UFO, which is just grind-fiesta and after UFO there are still several attacks that you can choke easily (and one of them is very learny pattern, lol). Pretty bad, and also first attacks are mostly too easy and heavy to play after while. Don't recommend to grind this for anyone
Boss 3 (Guy) - meh boss, mainly because Scythe is dumb. Benzen was alright tho. Overall this boss feels kinda weak in terms of design, but not the worst ever, you know

Stage 4 - incredibly good stage. Sunspike was harsh, but after it the rest was one of a big fun ride. Even debatable picks like Black, Maze, Hades give me a lot of fun. Butterfly, Excursion (BUBBLE IS COOL, CHANGE MY MIND), Emperor, Azure - this was all fine and enjoyable
Secret 4 - imho this is best secret in the game. Hard, but interesting entrance followed by redisgned TAS-screen which has iconic and fun drop and overall pretty interesting saves. I have some issues with TAS-drop save tho because of grindy beginning and last save is kinda dumb, but still - i like this secret a lot. Item is needed for secret bosses and extra, so okay, we take this
Gravityman, secret boss - oh man, this fucker is epitomy of crazy gamedesign. Constant gravity switches, shield on second phase, insanely chockable post-final. And you know, i doubt this was good boss in the end. It's just too learny, too unfair way often than it should be and simply unfun to me

After stage 4 there comes the Bossrush:
Dotkid - worst K3 boss (any %). It's just not works for me, outrage is trash-tier, final is a bad meme, rest was vapid
Piano - hard, but really fun avoidance. It has a really good pace, slow attack is ultimate danger, but gives you always a good feeling when you past it. I didn't like burst at the end of Red/Blue and not a fan of curvings, but it didn't bother me too strong, so good boss
Colonel - truly great barrage, platform is awesome-sauce, and other attacks are nice as well
Emperor - learning patterns kinda boring and second attack lasts too long, but in the end i start have fun with this one, because ending of the boss is actually pretty great
And after 4 devas, one last boss of 4 stage awaits:
Next Stage - astonishing tribute to the old era of fangaming and absolutely fantastic end of the medley content. This is an avoidance, that i always will be remember, visuals and song is beyond reasonably good, just fucking great. I have a lot of fun

After medley content, there's a Stage 5, which contains several guest areas:
Secret 5 - infamous Infinity Trials is one of the hardest things in the game and if you ask me, it's very dumb designed secret. It has some charm tho and i kinda enjoyed grinding it sometimes, but it's just too hard and painful as well very often. I have 14 screen 9 attempts and even despite i glad i've beat this after all, i still have some PTSD because of it. Item is kinda useless for any%, but very helpful if you go for 100 %
Kamilia area - imho truly great area. I have good times will all of minigames, Simon Says was really fitting in tone of the game somehow, as well as Maze. Minesweeper was wacky, but still worthwhile
Lunarmagic area - fast paced avoidance with interesting and kinda hard to dodge attacks. I don't mind that type of the fight and it works with me very well. I wish patterns at the end was not that learny and i feel like maker overused them a bit, but it's still decent. Final is cracked, but i didn't hate it. Good boss at the end
Betty area - sweety ice needle with some traps, which are not annoying and not generic. Snowflakes gimmick kinda dumb, but not really hurts you ability to play. I love every save of the area, except maybe first of 2 screen. Last save was great, didn't get why many of people hates it
Doruppi area - pattern-heavy avoidance with some parts of RNG, which i kinda dislike in total. Patterns themselves are ok, you need to just learn positions and sometimes do tricky jumps, but nothing too bad. RNG on the other side was really shitty, i think easily the weakest part of the avoid. So i didn't enjoy this, but i don't feel bad after this. Visuals was really good, must admit
Rukito area - good needle with energetic vibes, that are created by wise music choice and interesting and unique needle design. A lot of triggers, time-based segments, sometimes traps - and all of this was just so cool. Rukito for real creates classy needle, that's for sure. Love this area
Cyber area - this avoidance is kinda overhyped, i think, but i still enjoy this. This avoid uses a lot of curvings and sudden change of trajectory, which is fun, but some attacks are really become almost lucky-based i would say (yep, final, i'm speaking to you). First attacks also kinda faded, and strangely i enjoy the mostly Disco Jump and Bad Setup - unusual, hah. I like this avoid, but it has some flaws, so not the best, that's it
Influka area - long gradius fight, that are suprisingly fun. Getting powerups is thrilling, Moon phase was nervous and cool, final phase was disbalanced a bit, but creates really good intense atmosphere. Music slaps really hard through entire area. Very based, very good

And then comes the end of the game:
M-Stage - hate this tbh. I'm not a fan of chase needle and this is a example of HARD chase needle. Massive amount of precise and quite often bad jumps, also a lot of neat timings. I enjoy some saves, but i hate like half of it. Worst needle in K3, that's my final word
Kamilia - epitome of the game and unfortunately i have a bad time with this boss. First phase is make no sense, just pattern that you repeating over and over, it's really boring and feels out of place. Second phase is fun, but absolutely harsh to learn, Darkness is incredibly hard, Insanity is kinda dumb overall. I like this phase, but i'm really tired of it at the end. Final phase is good cluster of nerves, RNG, patterns and shooting her to victory. I dies at the post-final once because got incredibly unlucky orbs spawn, and the orbs themselves feels like unnessesary addition to this fight, so i don't know. Feels epic, gameplay was debatable. But i still have massive relief and positive when finally got her

And this is how i feel about K3. Most of the content in the game was memorable in good way, have a good replay ability and just fun in general. I definetinely not going in extra (because it's like awful), but i think i will hunting down some secrets ans secret bosses, that's for sure

Also i must admit that i beat Blue area throw practice tool, which is the only extra area that i considered as playable. Blue area absolutely slaps, one of the best avoids i will ever played, driving OST, superb visuals, gameplay was also incredibly good for me. I wish it can be put in main game, because it's really deserves it

very hard so 97 and never passed screen 1 but it .looks fun so 9.7


alright, jokes aside, this is an amazing game. it has great design in almost all of its needle parts and bosses (almost because of secret 5,4, emperor miku and hidden bosses 1-4 which ill talk about later) and the flaws are almost none (id give it 10 if it wasnt for secret 5)


stage 1: basic needle. not too hard jumps, fun crystals.
secret 1: would be pretty fun if there wasnt a save with a plane and 2 corners following the plane. gives the health potion item allowing you to see boss health.
flandre aka boss 1: ok fun boss ok flandre shoots ok darkness from kamilia confirmed omg its mushrooms oh shit its AHIT and i died. wtf pls nerf hat phase @kamilia @kamilia @kamilia
stage 2: did i forget to mention this game has more corners than i wanna be the corner jumps? anyways cool gimmicks
secret 2: double diamond, plane, cancel jump into a plane, yeah its all in this secret.
mr shine and bright: im mr dice man, and im the gayest in the lands.
stage 3: crystals bad platforming good
secret 3: interesting ish needle. has some common jumps and some rare ones.
the guy: easy boss hard avoidance plz nerf influk
stage 4: starts out with terrible needle and no gimmicks slowly getting better over time
secret 4: bro bro what if we like made i wanna be the meme needle from 2015 into a screen in kamilia 3
no wait i have a better idea lets make it the best item because you need to use it to access the best boss in the game

then boss rush comes. oh boy....

dotkid miku: dotkid avoidance with insane precision. i dont know if im just bad at dotkid but this felt way harder than the reviews say.
emperor miku: long and boring fight where you gotta shoot. honestly my third least liked boss here.
piano: precise and long fight with "interesting" bullets. dificulity is unbalanced jumping from easy to hard and back to easy all over the fight. also possibly the hardest of the boss rush.
colonel: best boss rush boss. fun barrage, platform phase is such a good moment. sadly easiest of the boss rush.

influka: the fan favorite. good song, good attacks, good dificulity. this boss is awesome. when i first saw the flash backs to the k2 bosses i was amazed how goodly this boss is made. however solgryn achievement sucks so yeah -0,5 points

and thats stage 4 clear.



stage 5 has most of the main games content so this is gonna hurt my fingers


Kamilia area is a short minigame area which should be burned in a pit
Lunarmagic area is a long avoidance with an unbalanced final
Betty area is a needle part with ice physics and annoying snowflakes that fall down. oh and also traps
Dorrupi area is a very fun avoidance with lotsa pattern
Rukito area is classic rukito trigger needle
Cyber is a great barrage boss with lotsa cool attacks, nice song, awesome hentai and oh wait fuck is this final?

influka area is a mixed bag. gradius is cool, balls are bad, avoidance is ok. dont really have much to say

sandwich: best area
M-stage: insane platforming under a time limit. one of the hardest platforming parts in main game

Kamilia: it has a really cool gimmick with the platform, and thats about all i can say. please experience to the fight for yourself if you can

secret 5: m e m e



crimson: fun and long boss but sadly they dont have their own hp bars so its kinda cheap if you accidentally kill green and the mask kills ya

destination: it takes forever and the whole fight is extremely stressful, but still fun to play. It takes time to get the hang of some of the attacks, but eventually they all become relatively manageable

breaking out: this boss takes a while to learn, but most of the phases are easy. The 6th phase is easily the toughest and most inconsistent. The final attack is very choke-able

popularity: gravity man is mostly RNG but he's still a huge pain in the ass.

koala: my fav boss! The boss is largely pattern based with some RNG with a bit smaller hitbox than usual. very good song, very good attacks, though its kinda long, it still doesnt get repetitive

ex stage: buffed screens of buffed screens of games :nog:

fuck ex hades. that shit is hell

and thats all of the needle and hidden bosses.
