First fangame I cleared after my break. Didn't make it to the avoidance, but was a fun challenge nonetheless!
Visually appealing tileset. Visually appalling background/inverting. Visual effects are overly complained about, I think.

I reached avoidance but didn't bother to do it.
Rating based on regular clear.
Visuals are pretty overdone and makes gameplay harder.

Bad needle, absolutely terrible visuals.

Rating includes avoidance.
A super cool needle with a lot of clever pathing similar to erunatyan's other needle + avoidance games. The visuals might be a bit too much for some and could lag on lower spec pc's but it wasn't too bad for me. The song pick is great too.
Like in his other games you need to do a certain goal to unlock the avoidance. Here you need to beat needle within 30 minutes in order to access it. The avoidance is very well made with some very clever transitions and patterns but the RNG is very rough to the point where I was just waiting for the game to not instagib me once I got far into the avoidance. It's extremely annoying and a turndown for people who like to grind out avoidance but aren't the best at it (me somewhat). There were also a few patterns that were a bit too precise for my liking like the big green fruit circle where you need to go in that direction after a certain point or else you'll get hit by the white lines that come from the edges of the screen. I died around 10 times to that because it's way too precise for something this far in. The attack before it is very bad too, where you can either get an easy pattern or a bad pattern where you need to do 2 nearly frame perfect turns and for me I kept getting the latter one.
There's still a lot of fun found in this game, specifically if you want to do the needle but nothing else. The avoidance is cool but way too annoying and unfair even for the best players. If it was balanced more I would give it a 9/10 but in this state it's not much more than a tedious RNG mess where most of the mistakes you make aren't even really your fault so it's around a 4/10 for me.
Would recommend the needle.
