The overall level design in this game is pretty much 10/10. The graphics are also top notch. The game consists of alternating screens from Pieceofcheese87 and Stinkycheeseone890. Their needle design should complement each other very well, but there are some issues here. These issues are why the game is getting an 8.0 from me. The issue I'm referring to here is PACING. Piece's screens generally have 3-4 relatively short saves and Stonk's screens are usually 2 much longer saves. The quick back and forth switch between these save lengths really broke the pacing for me. Neither of the two styles are bad. I love them both, but going back and forth between them so suddenly and consistently really made Stonk's screen fell much harder and tedious. On heir own they aren't, but in contrast to the short saves you just played it can feel very jarring. This is an issue I've fallen victim to in my own games and it's a big issue with a lot of games that needs to be addressed. Other than the pacing the only other issues are small gripes such as some annoying jumps (like a corner for example) at the very end of a save, but all of those are just my preference for end of save jumps. Despite the pacing, I would absolutely recommend this game. It's very well designed, but could have used some pacing adjustment in my opinion.

Good needle overall, there were def some rooms I was less a fan and I found stonk rooms to be more enjoyable that piece ones (tho it wasn't always the case). Woudl recommend if you don't mind a volatile difficulty and balance.

It's that GOOD shit.
I think I preferred some of the longer saves more often than not, but it was a really fun game to derust with. Has a host of the normal gimmicks (water, vines, some refreshers) with some creative and challenging design. Fun times!

Excellent needle game with a lot of variety. Every save has something different going on. While I'm not the biggest fan of water/platform/vine shenanigans, they're designed really well here and mostly used in ways that aren't obnoxious or over precise.

There are a couple of saves from each designer that make use of incredibly obnoxious and/or extremely precise jumps, These really halt the flow of the gameplay experience and ruin the saves that contain them. They aren't TOO bad though, and the rest of the game is so good that I can still give the overall experience a glowing recommendation.
