I really really enjoyed this. It's a minimalistic needle gimmick game which includes jump refreshers that give a jump, and take them away depending on which ones you take and even some speed up and gravity jump gimmick in stage 2 which was done really well. Would recommend if you want a chill but fun gimmick game.

Nice needle game consisting of 2 stages that makes use of a few gimmicks along the way, such as jump refreshers/"defreshers" (Respectively replenish and take away your mid-air jump when you touch them), speed changers and complete deprivation of your double jump. All of them are properly introduced by a short description that appears near their first appearance, and all of them fit really well with the platforming (At least in my opinion, as nothing felt too awkward to pull off). I particularly liked the usage of the jump defreshers, very few needle games use them, even among the gimmicky ones. The visuals are nice, so are the musics, the death sound could be lower, though. I'm also not very fond of how much space the messages in the background of the second stage take, they drag the visuals down quite a bit. Gameplay-wise, however, this is a very solid game and I would definitely recommend it.

This could have been pretty good if the gimmicks introduced didn't just get slapped together in the end.

The design itself is pretty interesting; practically every jump in this game is unique in some way. Throughout it, a couple of gimmicks are introduced: jump refreshers, jump "un-refreshers" (that take away your double jump when you touch them), various speed changes, and only being able to jump once. What I found really annoying about these, though, was that these gimmicks really just weren't very compatible with the needle style; it's really difficult to control the player at a speed of 6 when everything is built on an 8-pixel grid or less, and so everything just gets really awkward. The way the gimmicks are used are also pretty annoying, particularly the jump un-refreshers, as there are a few points where you have to hit some of them and fall back to where you stood initially to be able to progress, and basically all of the jumps that involve this are really dumb to pull off.

I wouldn't recommend this; it had promise, but the execution wasn't very good and the game was thus pretty unenjoyable.
