I'm gonna explain what I was thinking with this game. When I make games I usually start out with the soundtrack. I had found a lot of music that I thought went well together so I ordered it in the soundtrack and planned the stages. The words in the music sort of express the way I felt about various things in my life when I released this game. Many of the songs are related to the anime Serial Experiments Lain, which I have been a huge fan of. That anime is very personal to me. I wanted to make 32px needle for the first time. I didn't want it to be too hard because I actually wanted people to play this game. I was trying to make a good and polished game that everyone would enjoy. Most of my games are really avant garde and some people don't like them. Not to say this game isn't avant garde though. The tiles I chose are from my unfinished game "bp2." I thought I would just use them, because they took me a few hours to make and they are kind of wasted on an unfinished game. Plus, I was too lazy to make new tiles. I think the flow in this game is really good. By that I mean, the way you always keep moving while still doing fun jumps. The jumps take up a lot of space, most of the time. Most of my games, the saves are short and don't take up too much space. They are just a series of precise jumps. In this game, the jumps are large and easier, but it still feels really good to do. The game does have some spots where it helps to press two buttons at the same time. For me, this kind of thing is fine. I enjoy it. I know some people don't like this though. The way I designed the water needle is the way I think water needle is most fun. Water needle should just have small pieces of water for you to jump off of, instead of large water squares that take up the whole screen or a big chunk of it. The kind of water I prefer to use doesn't give you back your double jump. In the end I think this is my most "perfect" game. This is the most polished thing I have released.
As for the extra, it is really hard. I really like the final screen, and grinded it for a few hours. Obviously, I wasn't able to beat it, but I put a lot of thought into the design.

Rating doesn't include extra since its stupid and optional anyways.

Its great, sweet and pleasant needle, music makes it a memorable experience.
Game is perfect for me, definitely bananaguy's best game.

I wish more needle games were like this one.

Rating doesn't include extra since it's a joke.

Replayed it, only screen I wasn't hot about was the last real screen, which has a couple strats that make it better in the end. Very fun needle game all around, the water screens are especially good.

Very fun needle and an amazing (albeit not fancy) credits sequence.

A fun needle game where the majority of the screens have only one save. Many jumps require you to press two buttons at the same time but nothing's too bad. The screens with water are unique and interesting.
Music's chill too.

A really fun and pleasant needle game, definitely recommended.

Unlike other games from bananaguy's this is not as grindy.
After the first few screens I'd say the difficulty is close to constant.
The majority of the rooms have only one save. Most of them feature a single precise jump (and in rare exceptions two).

I particularly liked the water needle rooms (they are not dumb giant tanks).
The atmosphere given by the music is unique.

I only wish a few more tilesets were used. The game has only two of them, one for transition rooms and one for "real" needle rooms.
