Very long and challenging needle game suitable for experienced players. It consists of five stages of ten screens each, with each screen taking the tileset of a game featured in Cultured 2. Each stage ends with a (very easy) boss based on Cultured 2 as well. Generally I find bosses in needle games obnoxious, but they were reasonable enough here that they served as a nice change of pace from the platforming.
Overall I liked like this more than Crimson Collab, but I have to dock a few points for two reasons:
1) The final stage is *substantially* more difficult than the rest of the game and can become quite grueling if you're not prepared for it. I went into it with 4647 deaths and finished the game with 8882, so it nearly doubled my death count by itself. Makes it hard to evaluate the game as a whole when the difficulty is so concentrated in the last 1/5th like this.
2) It is rather easy to crash the game after beating a boss; if you're hit after your HP bar disappears, the game will crash, no questions asked. It's particularly easy to have this happen on the stage 4 boss, which is fairly long and rather annoying to have to fight again. This really should have been caught in testing.
I enjoyed this game overall, but I'm not sure how much I can recommend it due to the extreme difficulty spike in stage 5. Tread carefully.
