I've released an update that nerfs almost every single screen, with the intention of bringing the game closer to the intended difficulty as the game was harder than I originally wanted it to be. Please redownload if you have the old version :)

When I finished the first four stages I was convinced that this could be the best vine needle game I've ever played. There were good visuals, challenging difficulty and twisty routes(which I like very much). It's hard but pleasant to grind with. However, when it comes to the extra stages, things changed. The visuals are not comfortable anymore and there are some over-precise jump during some really long saves(For example, the 6th room).I finally quit this game on the third room because it seems only a ripoff of 47f of cn2 with a really unreasonable drop in the end.
I recommend this game(to the normal end) to everyone who is in favor of needle games based on vines and platforms and just pretend not seeing the extra stages unless you are a huge fan of really long saves with some annoying and awkward jumps.

Rating based on extra clear. I kinda feel that extra is somewhat unnecessary and out of place in this game.

Rating doesn't include extra. Most of it was pretty good. Last stage, although I'm a sucker for mazes, had some really really annoying screen transition stuff that was really not fun. And after the final maze, you have to do this precise section with no killers on it where it is pretty easy to accidentally press r and then you have to play the final save of the maze again :))))))))

I wanna Explore the Mountains is a 4-stage needle game, containing gimmicks such as platforms, vines, and gravity flippers. It also has a few hints of modern needle in the game, such as platform jumps, using water as catharsis water, etc.
Stages 1-3 are completely fine! I had a lot of fun with them, however the game quality dipped rather suddenly at stage 3; some of the jumps were far too annoying for my tastes.
However, stage 4 is where my patience started getting torn. I appreciate the concept, its just the execution is just so god damn awful. For one, some saves had stupid screen transition moments, which just made me even more pissed. Combine that with the fact that it was hard to see where to go at times, and that some of the transitions were done with upside-down needle, and you've got something that i'll dislike heavily. At least make the camera scroll, damn it. That would've fixed so many issues I had with the game.
Recommended, but only clear if you can tolerate stage 4.
