Strong start with the grassland, but then nothing is left.
Needle stage was pretty bland and, should I acknowledge the puzzle stage's existence ?

It's pretty standard puzzling, but still it shouldn't have been this short, it just exists because its boss may have been made prior ?

The traps in stage 1 were decent and funny, stage 2 was pretty generic needle, and stage 3 was some simple puzzle platforming. All the bosses were basically the same, forgettable delicious fruit fights. Stage 1 was really the best in terms of tileset and gameplay, I think I would have enjoyed the game more if it had continued on like that.

Its a decent little game that starts pretty strong but sort of falls apart. Stage 1 starts off as a neat little trap area with some enemies. Production is clean and design is solid. However, the subsequent stages get progressively shorter and the bosses are all the same.

Its still decent but it felt like the creator lost interest in the project which makes it hard for the game to hold the players interest.

The title-screen had my hopes up for a decent adventure game, but did it deliver?

By and large... yes?

The game was fun enough, the traps from the first world were all composed of spikes which left a bit to be desired, but again it was a fun experience and i never really found myself getting frustrated at the traps or anything. The second world wanted to be comparable to uhuhu, sporting similar needle style, music, and visuals... and hey, at least the music wasn't restarting anymore! The third world was a puzzle world, a little underwhelming since it was over really quickly, and it seems like we've returned to the land of restarting music... oh well, it was fun while it lasted.

Then there are the bosses... man oh man, i feel like they were more of an afterthought if anything. The bosses were all the same big red cherry sprite with unoriginal and uninspiring attacks that kept on repeating, forcing me to suffer though the long i-frames. Bare in mind this was all-the-while listening to the default Megaman music. So yeah, in terms of bosses, there was a lot left to be desired.

Overall, they were kind enough to include a hub so if you really don't want to do the bosses just make a new save and play through the good parts of the game, i.e. the platforming. The maker knew what they were doing and how to make fangames, as is made obvious through the production value in the title-screen and hub area, however it was a shame to see that talent unused throughout most of the actual game.
