Incredible game. It's impressive how these marathon games keep surprising me every year. I Wanna Find A Cure is another fangame that's shocking that it's free to play. I find it more enjoyable than a lot of stuff on Steam right now. Each world is unique and very well done and fun to play. There's a ton of variety in the game that will provide hours worth of content. It's games like these that keep me interested and playing fangames.

Personally I'd say this is about as good as the 2nd marathon game, but it's not even close in terms of production value and the amount of effort went into making everything look insanely smooth. And this isn't to say this isn't incredibly creative, well made and with top notch design as expected from the more consistent makers involved here. The first stage I must say started off a bit weak, didn't interest me nearly as much as any of the other stages, specifically the one by PlasmaNapkin. And again, shoutouts to him for being an incredible game maker with the amount of quality and just pure fun out of exploring the stage and the boss too, you could've made a whole game based on it and it'd be one of the best adventure fangames to come out, along with this and the 2 other marathon games. Definetly a bit of everything to be enjoyed here, if you didn't enjoy one stage, don't give up on it and give it another shot for the rest of the game, I highly recommend this to anyone. It's not perfect but it surely feels close to that level.

Just play this, it is the most impressive fangame I have seen in years. The developer team managed to add new mechanics and new controls from the respective games for each stage, and they feel great.

Props to plasma for making one of the most fun bosses in the game and in the fangame history.

Maybe my least favorite marathon game in the last 3 years. The main problem was that the game heavily required your prior knowledge on the original ones, making the game a set of free DLCs rather than a fangame.
In the Mario stage, you can bounce higher from a monster holding the jump key, and this is completely without any hint in the game.
For the Megaman stage, the acceleration feeled a bit of strange because you can't do it in the air. But the biggest complaint about this stage was the key control. There must be one key for Shift and Ctrl to be the toggle of typewriting, so it became a extremely painful experience with both the two keys being occupied in this stage. Overall this was a personal problem because such things wouldn't happen to native speakers.
Cuphead stages had similar issues with the first stage. The timing of padding on the pink stuff was very unfamiliar for a first playthrough. I beat the boss because I was lucky enough not encountered by the green demon.
Autorun stage was a slight letdown of the quality in the whole game, while there was no new skill you had to learn, so not much to say about it.
I hadn't heard of Celeste before playing this game. Maybe it was a phenomenal game in western countries and everyone had played it but I really hadn't. The physics was totally different from traditional fangames, which was just awkward for me. Maybe I just failed to find the charm of it. And according the advice by other players. I quited Metroid stage.
So why rating a 8.5? A famous needle maker once said that a game should be "objectively measureable ". The game did has incredibly high production value. The most impressive one was the cuphead boss, which was not even inferior to the origin bosses. But what must be mentioned once more time is that the rating is only of the production value. I truly and personally hope that marathon game could be more like a traditional fangame instead of a pure copy of popular video games.
