Games from this author are very unique, and this game is no exception.
As the title says, we are in a "strange tower", and the content of the game confirms it.
The game is quite short but will still be able to surprise you.
Also if you play this game do not forget that you are in a "strange tower", and what happens here will never happen in the real world, so you may think that the kid just had a bad dream :)
when you died like 10 times on the final boss,his give you a 1hp,so you can press q and r around 200 times for having 20+ hp,which make this boss is super easy

Definitely high up with past FM adventures in terms of quality, with abundant production value and aesthetics. I can't even begin to imagine all the work it took to make the 2.5D stages look this good.
The gameplay in the main stages is pretty fun; my favorite stages were Goemon and Parappa . On the other side, the Sonic chase was too long and Monkeyball felt a bit "throw lives at it" luck based sometimes , although part of that might be attributed to the base games.
My main gripe is with the final boss, which is a significant difficulty spike and while the concept is fine, I feel that the execution could have been better. To be specific, the difficulty gap between the easier and the harder roulette picks feels too big. The quiz becoming free is unavoidable, but the targets pick, the eye lasers and the wrecking cherry could be more interesting and less free. The money pick is also free once you notice you can bait and outrun the punishment; I would have lowered the debt and given bonus damage if you get enough credit instead, to incentivize the money collection. At the other end, Destination could be slightly nerfed, and platform snap is very annoying on Colonel; special mention to the anvil pick, which has a low but significant chance of screwing you over.
Overall I'd still highly recommend it, but be prepared for a long endurance boss!

Three stages of ultra-generic needle. It's good for practicing corners and diagonals, and that's about it. Play it if you're extremely bored and like mindless grinds.
This is clearly a first solo game (and the creator says so, anyways); there are a few experimental parts, like a dotkid screen and water being used a couple times, along with jump refreshers and vines. So, this is to the creator: it might be a good idea to step outside of the 32 pixel grid and have themes for each stage to help differentiate them.

I have something to say about the heated discussion in the Chinese community. Compared with Morning Dew, the game is not that experimental and well-coded. But why not jump out of this domain? Consider it as a normal fangame instead of just benchmarking it against Morning Dew. I know this game is made based on dew and many other games. But it does still have something new. During my test play, I don't actually feel bored, which makes me think it does have something desirable.
Another aspect, proposed by Lucien. He criticizes the circumstance of the game. He said although this is an imitation of morning dew, it has not imitated even the most basic stuff: atmosphere.
Let me explain my opinion. The game itself is not that bad, but the creator gave it an excessive position, which caused all the discussions.
Just like Auguste Rodin said, "A clumsy artist always carries other people's glasses." Get rid of the style of dew-like. The game might become better. So I still have a positive attitude towards this game, hoping such quarrel won't happen again.

This game looks like it has 4 stages. The game is unfinished where you can play one stage at the moment. The first stage was good. The boss was decent. This game seems like it might be better than the first.

3 Stage trap game. Felt heavy with the traps. Each stage has a boss. The avoidance was random RNG. Short game. Restart music. Rockman music every stage. Wouldn't recommend.

I basically agree with what IanBoy141 said about this game. It still is interesting and reflects dagger's design philosophy well, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Not particularly recommended unless you're interested in everything that dagger's library has to offer, but otherwise, you won't really have that good of a time with this game.
