This a really good trap game that very accurately captures the feel and style of the classic Orbit style trap areas previously seen in other games. Some very well designed traps without becoming stupidly precise keeps things moving along at a fun pace.

This game is really something. It's an adventure style fangame with a somewhat open world format that sports a weird story and fairly high production value. The player is exploring various paths trying to locate 5 cards that allow access to the final encounter. Along the way there are various memes and traps, and some gimmicks. There is also a shop that allows the player to buy upgrades at every save point, although most of these are fairly pointless except for 1 or 2.
As the player finds the cards, various paths get closed off which helps guide the player to places they need to go to find the remaining cards. There's a variety of bosses, most of them are pretty decent and button mashing is encouraged since a lot of them don't have i-frames. This can lead to some excessive mashing especially in the semi-final boss which is conceptually great, the mashing can be tiresome after a few failed attempts.
The difficulty is pretty tame through most of the game and its bosses until the final path where it jumps up a bit, but still maintains being fun and mostly fair since attacks are often telegraphed with warnings and tells to minimize instagibs.
The final boss sequence is probably worth the price of admission alone, one of the more memorable boss sequences I've seen in a long time. There is also an optional boss after the end that can be unlocked which is a pure RNG meme fest of a fight, again optional bonus content if you want it.
You can tell a lot of effort went into this one, even in the weakest parts of the game you have to appreciate the love that went into this one.

A truly remarkable achievement of game development and a game changing moment for the fangame community.
On many levels this is a remarkable piece of software. The production value and functionality this brings to the table makes both playing and creating fangame content more accessible than ever before. A Steam release puts the fangame community on display in front of a much wider audience potentially opening the flood gates to bring newcomers into the tent, and the simplicity of using the program makes it so literally anyone can start creating rooms after only a few minutes of learning how to use the tools.
Just by playing the levels, I can't help but be consistently amazed at the scope of what this software is capable of when in the hands of creative people. Not only does the maker side of this software put a massive amount of gimmicks at the fingertips, but seeing the way makers are taking these tools and twisting them into new things pushes the limits. Nobody who wants to make fangame content is constrained by their lack of programming skills, knowledge of other game making software, or even their access to it. I Wanna Maker lays it all out there in an easily digestable package literally for free.
Even if you have no intention of ever creating a single piece of content, there is a pit of infinite gameplay here that gets deeper by the hours as a flurry of new rooms are constantly being pumped out. The game itself comes with a ton of functionality, even in early access, to let people enjoy exploring rooms in the way they want. Stats tracking clear counts, speed records for each room, and even the ability to make your own character gives users little things to make the game whatever they want it to be for themselves. This looks only to get better as more features and functionality gets added over time.
The version as it exists in early access right now is more than enough to cement itself as an essential experience for anyone who enjoys fangames and platformers in general. After a few short hours playing this, it's hard not to marvel at the massive potential sitting here and to be truly excited about watching the future development of this project.

A gimmicky fangame with a lot of great humor and traps. The stages themselves feel like mini games, There's some pretty decent platforming near the end of the game and one boss at the end. This one definitely has that charm that will make you smile as you play it in a few places.

Easily one of the best needle games to date. This game offers a lengthy experience through the classic Neon-style needle we have seen from the previous games. This time around, the game steps things up a notch by introducing a wide variety of gimmicks to make the experience more interesting and also more challenging. That being said, the pacing is fairly well done, and the balance of the saves seems to be fair with very few segments feeling longer than they should.
When introducing the quantity of style of the gimmicks used in a game like this, there is always a fine line the maker must walk between creating interesting new mechanics, and designing levels around them that compliments them. This game successfully shows you something new, teaches you how it works, and presents them in a setting where they feel fun to play by using the space in each room wisely. It's a rarity lately in some of the newer needle games that have CN3 inspirations.
Production wise the game looks great and comes with the great type of soundtrack you have in the previous Neon games. As with the previous games, there are no bosses to be found, just straight platforming with a pretty hefty amount of dotkid stuff mixed in. There's a fun little story bit at the end of the game that wraps up the experience nicely.
Most needle fans should make a point to play this, and hopefully needle makers will observe the design and flow of this game to better their own productions.
