One day I felt like trying to actually make a good needle game. This is what came out.

Also, progress for this was slow, mainly because at many times I didn't really feel like finishing the screens. Also, real life stuff.

However, the last day I was working on the maps, I suddenly managed to finish the 8th screen and make the later rooms in the game in one day. Don't ask me how. Free time I guess, and motivation.

I hope you have fun with this needle.

(Oh yeah, by the way, there seems to be a bug at the 6th screen where at the end the room changer sometimes doesn't work properly)

EDIT: It seems some people are having lag issues. I might try to fix it but I'm not sure what is the exact cause of this.

It was okay. I disliked that it starts using too much diagonals + gates, which was getting a bit annoying (like on that last save of the blue area)

While it is a large improvement over the first game, there's still a lot of things in this that bring it really close to the first's level.

The biggest flaw in this is the amount of dickspikes. I usually don't mind them, since one game I really enjoyed, I wanna be the Violet Gear, used them a lot; however, that's mostly because I could actually see them in that game. In this, the visuals are just enough to hide the spikes, making it more of a trap than anything, and a cheap trap at that.

The design in general was mostly uninteresting, although it was somewhat fun. The two saves where you have to fall into a specific spot on the room's border to go to the next room were probably my least favorite in the game, and the use of jump refreshers in general were kind of dumb (though I'm biased here since I dislike jump refreshers in general). I also felt the last screen was pretty unnecessary; it's a bit counter-intuitive to add a mediocre-at-best room to a game the maker tried to make good, no?

It is evident that the maker did put effort into making this better than the first game, and that definitely shows, yet there's still a lot of work that needs to be done to it.

While this fangame is much better than the first in terms of well... everything, it still does many things wrong. Dickspikes, too many gates and diagonals and a bit of a weird difficulty curve, meaning some saves are like first try for me while other require a bit of farming.

It's not bad and is worth a play, there are just some annoyances which I just explained which put the rating down a bit.

The game felt pretty bland overall, needle design is filled with diagonals and gates with a few gimmicks sprinkled on top. Graphics and music are alright; but yeah, I wish there was more variety in the jumps.

I've had the lag issues halfway through the game and it was certainly annoying (not included in rating).

Next to unplayable on my end. The game lags horribly, and it's not because I have a shitty PC. Playing around with VSync and Smoothing Mode changed nothing. Could be a Windows 10 issue, but this issue was not present on the first Trash Needle.
