I recently beat this game. And it was a fun time. Very original and epic gameplay, has some neat ideas. Bosses are really good (except the final one but I was jus bad tbh), stages also cool. Only Problem is that the difficulty curve is kinda bad (stage 1 is one of the hardest, could even say the second hardest after the finale.). Also golf stage can suck my dick I hate it so much

what can i say about marathon except its pretty good.
iwbtg stage: honestly the hardest platforming/traps in the game however its still fun.
mad cherry: no
mario world: a bit of puzzles and very fun!
bowser: interesting concept, bad execution
megaman world: interesting? however the falling spikes suck
water spitter: honestly my second favorite boss here. hes fun, fast, has a good pattern and isnt too much rng
cave story world: best traps in the game
balrog: imagine having to die because of bad luck
golf world: this is why i favorited this game. best area
sonic world: pretty fun except its not fun and those shooters will give you nightmares
eggman: all i need to say is, in phase 1, he can spawn enemies from the ground, and those enemies can spawn right below you instakilling you
VVVVVV world: what if we took the fun of golf world, made it a little less fun, and exchanged the ball gimmick with the vvvvvv gimmick?
victoria: without a video, it sucks. if you watch a video on victoria, its fun.
pokemon: world: filler
bike guy: surprisingly fun!
karate guy: i recommend using the trainer skip because this guy... just dont fight him for your own sanity.
the two girls: what if we took the fun of the VVVVVV world, made it a little less fun, and made it a pokemon fight?
final stage: fun, just in the perfect spot of dificulity, and the perfect ammount of length. it just hypes you up for...
???: best boss hands down. his attacks are all fun, hard but easy enough to make progress, makes use of the gimmicks from the platforming you just did, and has cool story. this game is a treasure to me, and while most bosses need rework, the platforming in this game is godly.

It's a good game, with good production value and has a lot of variety, with different gimmicks. Both the platforming and bosses are pretty good, although some things felt a bit off like stage 1 and the like. Overall enjoyable and not really difficult for experienced players, but it's a good game for newer player that want to get better while playing a relatively well designed game.
