Butterscotch Dandy is a needle game heavily inspired by the Uhuhu Spike series, and similarly-styled needle games. I challenged myself to create a different type of needle than usual in that style, and attempted to keep a steady difficulty throughout, although I feel I spiked it in a few saves with some overly precise jumps. In retrospect I would've also liked to have done more with the trigger switches, as well as unsure if the game should've been cut down by a few screens, but ultimately I was happy with the finished result. Have a dandy time!

But seriously, if you like needles like the uhuhu games, you should take an hour or two out of your time to play this. From the music, to the aesthetics, to the random awkward and overly precise jumps (which I'm not particularly fond of), this game is certainly just like the short, vibrant, and exciting needle that we all know and love.
...Except that squished diagonal. Not exactly sure why it exists.

Good game. Save balance is a little odd sometimes and some of the jumps were pretty annoying but overall it was very fun. Perhaps slightly too long but not to a fault. Maybe two or three fewer saves and it would have felt perfect. Also, the trigger hit box is slightly smaller than the hit box of the button so you can activate the Hutton but not the trigger. Keep that in mind as it confused me pretty bad on one screen. Would recommend. Also, better than the original Uhuhu games.

I enjoyed this just as much as Uhuhu Spike 2, and that's saying something for a shortish needle game.

Incredibly good and fun needle game with really cool and unique jumps. I had such a blast playing this. My only problems are that this drags on for too long with no indicator on how long you have been playing or how much is still left. Also there are a couple out of place saves, like that one super diagonal.
