I rate games, but along with the ratings, I tell you how many gate jumps I've had to do in the game! The amount of gate jumps do not interfere with my actual thoughts of the game. What I consider as gate jumps are ones that have the down spike above an up spike by 32 pixels (squished gates do not count), diamonds count as +2 gate jumps, double diamonds as +3, and so on.
