Short saves, precise needle. Its okay in parts but there's some dumb things that drag it down. Also required 1f for reference.

Aesthetics are as expected from an archfoe game and not really worth talking about except in the regard where it hurts gameplay. This is where water all looks the same but the individual tiles are sometimes water1 and sometimes water2, which in the land of precise needle is pretty dumb when you can't see where the breakpoints are. Likewise, in the 7 screens of the game, there was already some repetition in jumps/ideas which feels like it could've been done better (like fewer upward sphincters and squished gates).

It does what it sets out to do, but not particularly well for me.

The hardest game in the series in my opinion, because there are more really hard jumps than archfoe1 or 3. Especially the last save got me. That simple-looking jump took me so long, and when I somehow made some strategy and tried, it worked well. The same went for the other jumps. The feeling when my new strategy works is so good, and this game helped me to deal with hard jumps in more flexible way.
