A game I don't like, yet one that holds great significance for me.
Because of this game, I met two good friends, without whom I couldn't have beaten it.
Also, I started interacting with other players and learning from skilled players.
On this point, I'm not grateful to the game itself, but to those who persevered and worked hard to challenge it.
The game itself has limited content, with no background music except during the avoidance.
The spike patterns in the White World were quite unique to me, with many interesting pattern designs.
The Black World's Boss is extremely boring. You have to endure the invincibility frames while constantly attacking, dodging increasingly dense bullet patterns, and being wary of unfair RNG.
Then comes the avoidance that frustrated me the most.
It took two months from preparation to completion, while I had only been playing I Wanna again for 3 months, previously only at IWBTG level.
During these two months, my skills, awareness, and understanding of this game changed dramatically, and my mindset went through several changes.
My current understanding of Crime & Punishment is:
The design is simple and rough, with numerous bullets, mostly just using random numbers and rebounds.
Too much wasted time, with rest periods requiring no operation, while simple sections can mess with your mindset through bad RNG.
The pre-pre-final requires focused attention on bullet flow patterns. If unlucky, press R.
The pre-final needs a wider field of vision. If unlucky, press R.
The final requires good and stable vision; horizontal flying upward curves pose significant threats. My method for managing vision is ensuring I can handle three areas well: the kid, curves to the kid's right, and curves above the kid. All need to be watched, but not too intensely, as that would narrow vision. I eventually found that my stable vision area wasn't large, but it was sufficient.
I'm very grateful to Da Qi for guidance on vision management. I improved in at least two ways: finding my own method to practice vision, and being careful with horizontal upward curves, controlling jump strength more, trying not to make big jumps, and avoiding jumping when possible.
Also, I used to waste double jumps randomly instead of saving them for survival. If single jump height feels wrong, it's usually due to vision issues. Big jumps are easily caught unless you notice fewer bullets flowing above. It's not recommended to make big jumps over horizontal upward curves unless they won't hit the kid.
Horizontal movement actually helps dodge sniper shots. Sometimes staying still also helps, like when dodging crossfire or slipping through curves falling from above.
Oh right, if unlucky, remember to press R.
Now I believe this is a game about vision and mindset.
Before reaching the final stage, you need a good mindset, not letting your condition and luck affect your emotions.
In the final stage, you need to demonstrate skill and maintain stable vision.
So it's definitely not a luck-based game, although luck is important.
Not recommended for beginners. High-difficulty avoidances should all require good planning, and methodology and approach are paramount.
Recommended to try only when you feel in good condition; almost all my successful attempts were within the first 20 minutes.

Странный дизайн уровней, иногда интересные прыжки, но из-за отсутствия музыки вызывает только рвотные порывы... Особенно на авоиденсе/боссе. Я на нем дропнул. Невозможно заставить себя душиться на таком унылом моменте.

Decent needle and boss followed by insanely hard RNG avoidance, that has cracked final attack. Can't say i didn't enjoy my time, but it would be definetily better if final wasn't that ridiculous and unfair at times. If you can stomach classic slow pace avoidance with bullshit at the end - might be your choice. If not - ... beware

Что ж тут сказать... данную игру более-менее вытягивает только интересный нидл дизайн с возможностью выбора пути (обычный путь или же посложнее), однако музыку в игру не завезли - будет всё же скучновато играть в тишине. (включайте свой любимый плейлист на поверх игры)
Босс абсолютно скучен, ни музыки, ни интересных атак здесь нет, зато под конец происходит полнейшее закидывание рандомом со всех сторон, а у самого босса просто колоссально огромная защита от попадания. Выглядит это скорее, как издевательство, а не геймплейная составляющая.
На авойденсе очень приятная песня и первая часть уклонения очень хороша под неё, однако примерно со 2 куплета начинаются очень сложночитаемые атаки, нечестные разлёты и просто дикий РНГ-спам на финале, выживет только сильнейший, да и то не факт сколько на это у него уйдёт времени... и стоило ли это того? :/

What can I say here... this game is more or less pulled out only by an interesting needle design with the possibility of choosing a path (the usual path or more complicated), but the music was not brought into the game - it will still be boring to play in silence. (include your favorite playlist on top of the game)
The boss is absolutely boring, there is no music or interesting attacks here, but at the end there is a complete random throwing from all sides, and the boss himself has a colossally huge hit protection. It looks more like a mockery, rather than a gameplay component.
There is a very pleasant song on the avoidance and the first part of the evasion is very good for her. However, from about second verse very difficult to read attacks, dishonest spreads and just wild RNG spam on the final, only the strongest will survive, and even then it's not a fact how much time he will lose for this... and was it worth it? :/

The game consists of a simple (but very funny) needle with two-way mechanics, one is difficult, the second is easy (medium). The difficult path is about 75-80, and the easy one is 40-50. And also the boss, who is hard in the last phases. As a challenge you can go through a very difficult avoidance, but this is not necessary.
This is the only game in which I went through the end and several times. Of the minuses could note the lack of music.

This game... I only played it to reach the final boss.
Then let's go.
There is 2 portals : White and Black :
Left portal, very very good needle, interesting jumps, 2 ways... It's a masterpiece, because there is a lot of decoration with spikes. My only complain is that there is no music
Right portal : a boss... A really bad boss. Too much HP's, becomes insane at the very end during the last 10 HP's, RNG's that are sometimes impossible... Well bad boss. (and no music, that made the fight more boring)
And finally the final boss : For me a masterpiece, good music, only rng's again (but with music this time, not boring)... But dont wait any pattern on this boss.
Well, good game for needle and final boss. But not for right portal.

I am the kind of person that dont really enjoy hard avoidance so much so this review is only for the needle part. The whole game is completly white and black. You can choose either the needle part (White) or the avoidance part (Black) from the beginning. The needle part is very beautiful and i enjoyed it a lot, it has lots of symmetrical patters and strange jumps you need to perform. There are always two ways you can choose from, so even after you have completed the game you can do it again and try the other way. Overall a pretty good game. Beware if you try the avoidance part it is very very hard.
