This game reminded me a lot of Rukimin, which also features great production value that fails to distract from the game being utterly unfun to play for most of it.

Stages 1 and 2 are the best part of the game, solidly executed trap stages with some real scamp moments. The bit with the Minecraft enemies in stage 2 is a bit dumb, but nothing too bad.
The first boss is a very basic fruit boss, with the "gimmick" of the visuals becoming crap as you go. Basically a sudoku boss.
The second boss is the best boss in the game, which is saying EXTREMELY little, but it is genuinely pretty cool. It destroys the blocks you're standing on gradually, so you have to work around that and kill it before you lose your footing entirely.

My feelings on everything beyond this point all fall between mild frustration and seething hatred. The latter is the case for stage 3, which requires you to use the mouse to spawn blocks and later on draw platforms. This is one of the worst things I've ever played in a fangame. The problem is that most of the sections are timed or force mouse use mid-jump, necessitating either a third hand or a massively awkward control setup. The last screen is the worst part, but the entire stage before that already made me question my life choices. The boss is also a bad idea made worse by barely functional mechanics. The entire stage stands as a shining example of putting something in because you could without considering whether you should.

Stage 4 gets back to trap game basics, but with some visuals that, while pretty, make some of the platforms kind of confusing. It also bumps up the difficulty by adding stuff like squished gates, forced 2-frames and really long saves (at least on the recommended hard mode), which really doesn't feel like it belongs in this type of game. The boss is a rhythm minigame that is just pure tedious memorization. Lovely.

Stage 5 is vastly longer than all the other stages, and mostly revolves around cycle-based platforming. It's better than the previous two stages, but still suffers from a few overly precise jumps and some real headscratchers like having to hit a button through a tiny offscreen gap and a dumb conveyor room. The final boss has four attacks (plus a final phase super move), one of which is just a huge timewaster that you can't do damage during and one of which has a hard to learn timing that you need to get very consistent at if you want to live through it at all because he always does it four times in a row. It's not good. There's an extra stage (just platforming) if you collect a secret in each stage, but I had no idea these existed till the last stage, so...no.

I don't really understand the praise I've seen for this game. The last few stages get too bogged down by the increase in needle difficulty for it to be an amusing trap game, there's really only one particularly unique stage and it's the worst part of the game, and the bosses are nearly all terrible. Give this one a miss.

one of my favorite trollgames out there. not only because the trolls are well made but you can just see that a lot of effort was put into this game. sprites remind a lot of rukimin and the game is definitely inspired be the look of it. if you look for an entertaining game for yourself and maybe the stream if you have one, this is definitely a must play
PS: this game is not made in gamemake lite. that is just used as a trap in the first stage;)

One of my favorite fangames. All of its worlds are very different and distinct. There are many different amusing traps in the game good for a laugh or two. I found it has very high production value and is a fangame I continue to come back to. Also, it has a rhythm heaven-style boss. So that's pretty awesome. My only complaint is that world 5 doesn't seem to mesh well with the rest of the game, as far as tone and difficulty.

The difference between a good and great trap game in my opinion is the underlying gameplay outside of any traps, and is the best way to describe why I think this game is good, but not anything spectacular. There's not really a lot of gameplay I would say is fun or interesting outside of the third stage which is very creative. While the traps are pretty alright, and the bosses are cool, the platforming is just a bit lacking, which at the end of the day is a big issue because most fangames are mostly platforming. A good game, but could be better for sure.
