While my rating might be skewed because I absolutely hated the fact that I was stuck grinding this game for way too many hours, I think it has been a while since, and so I think the number I'm giving it has more thought now than ever, but feel free to use your own judgement.

The first boss in this game is the one most people like and the most memorable of the two; I think the structure is awesome and in general, this boss has both creative attacks, and intense stuff that really gets your adrenaline going, both good things for a boss that is supposed to be fucked up.

The thing that ruined this boss for me was everything before the green/blue attack.
It is just such a snorefest compared to everything after it that it legit felt like a pain in the ass cmi ex hyper intro just to get through it.
I still want to give it credit where credit is due; the 2nd phase is amazing, and I never felt such intensity and adrenaline in any boss before; for better or worse, the fact that I really wanted to get this boss done because of the negatives amplified the feeling of the 2nd phase which was great. The pasta attack in 1st phase is a blast to play, and the platform phase, while it feels like some dumb spaghetti code thing, it's actually pretty cool, and fun for the most part.

Now, for the second boss; I'm not sure if I have the right idea but apparently this one gets a bit more hate for whatever reason. I actually enjoyed this boss a lot more. It also has intense and creative attacks, and while it does seem to lean more towards some of the BS dot hitbox stuff, it stays with a consistent intensity through the boss. Some of the RNG later on is very simple but dense, and it goes well with the music (I also prefer the 1st phase music of this one compared to the first boss but I'm trying to remove that bias from the rating).

I think both bosses are worth trying; this game was a learning experience for me since it probably was the first grind where I actually got upset multiple times.

I think as an ending lesson I can say this: whenever you start getting into this section of fucked up avoidance games, don't be afraid of doing things to enhance your experience, I think that around that moment where you start pushing really hard for out-of-reach objectives, stuff like mods or practice tools are good if you think they will make your experience better; yes, you might get some weird looks, but I think it is a healthy decision to look out for your fun when you are trying to break new limits. Had I not decided to practice towards the end of the grind, maybe I would still be stuck on this and I would have rated this some shit like 1.0 out of pure hatred.

Cyber definitely has a style and this is no exception. One of his most iconic games, which includes two pretty hard avoidances filled with very crazy stuff. Obviously, need to explain them more deeply

First body is unbelievably great experience. Great barrage with a lot of unique and cool attacks, and extremely good pace with second phase being ultimate danger, that will always hype you. There's some bullshit RNG sometimes, but rarely tbh, for the most part it's fair. I can recommend this pretty much to everyone who didn't mind oldschool

Second body is kinda awkward. It has mostly easy RNG attacks and easy patterns, and then some extremely brutal attacks. Ending of first phase can just destroy you, and some stuff in second phase is very hard. I can't say i had a bad time, but it was quite annoying sometimes

Overall, it's quite a great game and it feels very special for me, it feels like attempt of making grand journey from just simple barrage experience. I like spirit of epicness here in both fights - it's not a common thing in fangames, iconic intro is goofy, but catchy and the hub is awesome. It's shame game didn't finished, i wonder how fucking based would be remaining three avoidances that were planned originally, but you know, it is what it is. At the end, i had a lot of fun

Individual ratings for avoidances:
-First body (enjoyment - 9,8; difficulty - 91)
-Second body (enjoyment - 7,1; difficulty - 87)

TIS is a game that needs no introduction, it's one of the most iconic avoidance games of all time and if Kamilia 3 didn't exist, it's very likely the first boss would be the most well known Taisa of all time. The game contains two bosses, often referred to as the first and second body. The difficulty of this game is nothing to scoff at, as even now the first body is still a very high level avoidance accomplishment. However everyone knows this already, so talking about the design is more interesting.

The first body is an interesting avoidance, it very infamous for being unfair, but honestly I don't think it's as bad as some people say. If I had a major complaint, it's that the intro can be pretty annoying to die to, as while the slow pace doesn't bother me too much, it's a bit awkward and destroys you. The 2nd half of phase 1 is really good though, and phase 2 is super awesome. I had a fun time playing it, and the platform attack is a GREAT idea which is really fun, even if it's super silly when the platform trolls you with bad bounces.

Second body is a bit more simple I think, it has less RNG as there are more pattern based attacks, but there's still some parts where you can get owned. It's much easier and more chill, and overall I think it's the stronger avoidance in terms of quality.

Individual scores for the avoidances would be 8.0/10 and 90/100 for first body, and 8.5/10 and 82/100 for second body. I averaged the quality scores and then took first body's difficulty score for my rating. Overall would recommend if you have the patience for it.

Both bodies were very unfun with a lot of unfair luck based praying attacks. Second phase of first body was fun to read and dodge, but that's just it. Attacks like The Wall Is Here were very very demotivating, because it's so luck based and unbalanced. Second body was worse, every hard attack is at the second phase, many many praying attacks with dumb final. Overall I really hated this game, not recommended.
