The gameplay of ichor is quite concise, featuring a few needle rooms followed by a boss battle. Players should be cautious of potential bad RNG that can occur during the boss fight. The K3 challenge website incorrectly claims ichor to be a private game from the Chinese community. ez Ichor readme contains contact information from a decade ago, but these contacts are now almost entirely unavailable. While ichor undoubtedly exists, the reasons for its current unavailability are complex.

It's pretty hard to make easy needle interesting, this game has some kinda neat spike formations but the platforming itself is rather basic. The boss is neat although the ending is kinda a reaction time check which might be irritating especially if you are a beginner. Pretty fun but honestly the most interesting part of this game is the original version being lost media at this point.

The boss fight is bad and the needle feels super strange. I know this is an easy mode but the nerfs make it feel like something is missing. Ichor is mostly notable because the easy mode is the only version of the game that is playable today. The original is considered lost media by this point and given its appearance in K3, it's essentially the holy grail of lost fangames. I do not think people would care that much otherwise though, as there isn't really anything *to* this game besides that.

Fun needle
Boss could be decent if the final phase used slower projectiles and a bit more HP to compensate.
The small blue ones and the top greens feel like a 50/50 on living or dying when they arrive.
