A lot of problems with this one.
First off, there is a game maker lite symbol. That is the sign of a bad game.
Second, why is the game window so big? I know the levels are designed around that space, but it's really weird playing a game in this resolution. The main obstacle in the first screen is a line that chases you. I'm guessing this is the "stick" from the title. It's pretty uninspired and dumb. There are floating swords in the level that you have to avoid. I guess this is the creator's replacement for apples. They look bad.
The level design isn't awful but the warps are cheap because they don't replenish your double jump. Also, the moving platform is really buggy when you're riding up on it. What really pissed me off though is that you only get ONE bullet on screen at a time. Why? Was the game just too easy with 4? I have no clue what was going through his head when he put this in. The infinite jump screen is way easier than the one before it. I had to give up on the charmander avoidance fight, because it was way too cheap and just plain awful. You have to know where to stand or else you will get a charmander teleported on top of you. Bad design all around, and pretty much ruins the game (not that it had much going for it)
The music is nice though, sounds like something you would hear in a hiddow game. (and it doesn't restart!) The graphics are okay, but nothing special. I'm just glad he didn't use brown blocks.
I can see that this is his first fangame, so it's pretty good in that sense, but still not worth a play. Don't ask me why I wrote a review this long for such a forgettable fangame.
