The needle is pretty much incapable for a human even when it isn't truely impossible. Lots of backtracking and very dumb looking jumps and segments for example an triple diamond in the first screen.
After 2 screens of needle there's an cool looking avoidance but still far from being beatable.
An nerfed and better revamp is used in Just's area of Z2, where the needle has different visuals but you can beat it now and the avoidance seems to be nerfed as well and it gives you like 5 HP to beat it.
