Got to agree with alice, it's just an incredible amount of really uncomfortable to terrible needle. It's definitely one of the worst needle games I've played and certainly not worth doing if you're interested in the boss (it's a pretty standard "Shoot the spike to aim up" type deal with some basic attacks).
Not recommended.
