Okay, so it turns out that this game is far harder and longer than people gave it credit for. It turns out that after all the main game content in thank Shadowlink57. There is extra content available for people to play. However, before I get to extra I would like to talk about the main game.
The main game is actually very good. The needle is centered around the platform gimmick. Using this gimmick, the needle creates an fast-paced blood pumping experience that keeps you on your toes so you can't take any breaks anywhere to relax. On top of this, it uses triggers vines and a bit of water so the needle never gets stale after a while of playing.
Main game rating: 9.0
Difficulty: 60
Now, let's get to the meat of the game which is the extra. This extra is available after beating the main game. The extra is a warp on the right of the clear screen.
Surprise, it turns out the entire extra is the entirety of Crimson Needle 1 with the hard screens nerfed (especially room 92).
Now, there is something I would like to address. In the extra, there is a warp on room 2 that generates an error - not immediately loading screen 3. However, to get past this warp all you need to do is press the ignore button on the message box several times to get past this error. This will cause room 3 to load however with every death you take on screen 3 the same error message will keep on loading until you get out of room 3. If you can get past this room. Then, the error message box stops loading and you can continue playing the rest of the extra as normal.
Now as a conclusion, I would say that the main game and the extra are highly worth playing because the hard screens in crimson needle 1 got nerfed so the experience is much much better. This is the definitive version to play crimson needle 1 if you wish to play crimson needle 1 in my opinion. I wish this was how crimson needle 1 was first made; I might have enjoyed it a lot more than I did.
