“I Wanna Get Cultured 2” is the sequel to the well known medley fangame from the western community.
Over 2 years in the making, Culture 2 builds upon the success of the original by massively expanding the game concept, dramaticaly increasing the production value, and an increase in challenge.
The development team led by Pieceofcheese, Paragusrants, and Klazen have scoured the western fangame community and recruited some of the most talented game makers to come together for this massive new production.
Culture 2 is a full length medley fangame that features the following:
* 50+ fangame references of games from the global community
* Real full length boss encounters!
* Dozens of rooms of unique guest content from the western fangame community makers!
* Dozens of optional rooms featuring a variety of content!
* Tons of secrets to discover and unlockables including outfits, death effects, saves, and more!
* Achievement System!
* Robust in-game menu system to keep track of your progress and discoveries!
* Multiple unlockable game modes including a revamped Bifficult hard mode, Gimmick Mode, and more!
* Multiple Endings!
* An epic tale of the ages that continues where the original game left off that is sure to touch your heart!

Very good old adventure game, first five stages are quite boring but sixth is very good, klazen is the best guest stage imo

Cultured 2 is an iconic medley, and for good reason. The production value is incredible, and clearly lots of effort was put into the game. Unfortunately, the gameplay is honestly nothing special. The needle is decent, but mostly forgettable screens, and when gimmicks are present they're annoying more often than not. Overall, the picks are pretty good, but ultimately unmemorable and somewhat samey. The bosses are the biggest mixed bag in this game, with some good decisions and some bad. The first three bosses are fine, boss two being a bit annoying but the others are enjoyable. However, the remaining bosses are a large difficulty spike. Boss 4 is particularly awful, and the difficulty just makes it a slog, through the inconsistent beginning and the learny end. Boss 5 is good however, being maybe my favorite fight in the game. It gets really consistent and has some fun attacks to dodge. The final boss has a lot of good parts, but also a lot of bad. Phase 2 is a particularly heinous example, being significantly harder than the rest and pretty unfun. Overall, just a huge mixed bag boss wise.
In the end, I feel like I spent 25 hours on this game just to come out and have very little to say about it. It is perhaps the definition of "fine". There's some good, some bad, and a lot of unremarkable. Ultimately, I would recommend Cultured 2, but there's a big list of better games ahead of it.
