Needle is very easy compared to the avoidance.
Avoidance has some weird transition moments and it's generally very unbalanced such as unfair intro. Final attack is kinda funny too, died there once and it was like impossible RNG. It's not an atrocious game, but it's not very good either, not recommended.

Needle is a nothingburger, avoidance is the main game.
Honestly I thought it was pretty fun. It's very outdated but it's enjoyable in a simple way. I only really struggled with 2 parts of the avoidance. Those being the intro, which can give you an unlucky streak of walling you at the end of it over and over, and the aimed red lines at the end of the avoidance where the screen flips, and RNG can get in the way (if the RNG forces you to jump, you're dead). Everything else was okay. I also died to the last attack but not because I got walled, I just panic jumped into a single curving cherry. I think the constant screen flipping makes for some interesting reading sometimes where you have to mentally prepare for it. Also the song is good.
