A very satisfying sequel that picks up the story of the last game by revealing a plot twist that negates the presumed happy ending there. It's a really solid adventure game with some pretty cool ideas and a unique take on bosses.
The stages are mostly an upgrade from the previous game and starts right off the bat with a pretty interesting first stage that focuses on security lasers and alarms. The second stage takes place in the sky and has clouds you can bounce off of, this was also pretty neat though had a rough save due to traps at the end. And then there's the final stage, it has two neat gimmicks to finish up the journey. Along the way there are 3 bosses, the first just being a chase with the other two being fights you don't lose progress in if you die, which to me adds on the concept of why the Kid hated immortality in the first place.
Overall, I think this is a worthy sequel to the first Normal Human, and really would recommend it to adventure players.

This game took on a new take to the meaning of death where you can make progress with bosses no matter how many times you die. It's both good and bad because it takes away from making a challenging boss to grind through. The stages were well done with good music. I didn't understand the story but I played it for the fight.

An enjoyable, story-heavy adventure game designed for a blind race competition. It's fun and has a lot of platforming and boss variety, and it features a unique mechanic in which everything is global and the Kid never truly dies. Cycles and boss HPs persist through deaths, so dying to a boss feels less punishing because you don't actually lose any progress. There's a neat mechanic that I haven't really seen before in the final stage where you shoot balls that follow a path and destroy spikes/blocks in the way; it makes for some interesting platforming.
And in case you have any interest in the story and cannot read Japanese:
The Kid is upset about always being able to respawn after dying, so in the first "I Wanna Be The Normal Human!" he fights God to be given the chance to become normal (that's the little girl you see in the flashback). However, she gets killed while helping the Kid by THE BAD GUY who is trying to unleash a virus on the world and wipe everyone out. The Kid gets framed by the police and is thrown in jail but gets let out by a police officer who believes his story for whatever reason. He then fights a girl who takes the Kid to the bad guy and also destroys the virus. The game ends by saying that it's okay to not be normal, and that the Kid has more to do before he can be normal.
