We looove playing 100 difficulty games. Anyways, closing game of this strange series is for sure special. Mainly because of final boss, of course
But let's start with stuff before it. So platforming in this game is definitely better than in second game overall, maybe slightly worse than in first game. I enjoyed screens with color-switch gimmick, and stage rush before final boss was pretty fun. Penalty room screens were kinda cursed tho and sometimes they are pretty rough jumps, for example i remember one save contatins ground double diamond... meh
Bosses are generally okay. First boss is classic apple with not that much of twists. Second boss and third boss are quite similar to first one, even tho they are not apples, and third boss has post-fight needle screen without save. Fourth boss is first struggle obstacle, has some weird instagibs and attacks, i didn't had real fun here, but it was not the worst
Of course, the main thing that represents this game is last boss. It contains of several phases, and each of them is pretty hard. Basically it goes like that: phase 1 - checkpoint - phases 2-4 - checkpoint - phase 5. All phases structured similary - they all have somewhat easy beginning, but then closer to end they begin to strikes with insane shit. Phase 1 is still not that bad overall, phases 2-3 are okay and pretty fair, phase 4 tho is where things started to getting serious - ending here is ridiculously stupid and i'm glad i got lucky way out here
Phase 5 is highlight tho in sense of difficulty. Brutal 5+ minutes fight, where you need to constantly mash - yeah, i bring autofire here and didn't regret. So yeah even with autofire this is work for 5 minutes. Attacks themselves are quite interesting to read, but in second half there are becomes very dense and tight, also there will be cameo of very dumb high-speed curvings, and so on, and so on. Oh and if you decide to go on it without autofire you must be warned that around 6 minutes mark there will be attack, that seems completely unreasonable to read (it's definitely doable of course, but just seems hard as fuck). So if you unsure about your mashing skills, just bring autofire. Otherwise, encounter 90+ difficulty fight
I really can't say did i like this game or not. Like before final boss it's just regular game, like two previous Freabliach stories +-. Last boss however changes my perception of the game and most of my rating basically comes from that experience. I would lie if i gonna say this is good boss, but i had my fun, that's it. Can recommend only if you like to witness complete mess and obscure difficulty stuff, that no one ever seen (well, except me and Iginlaj, i guess)
