The maze was well organised, just lacks a little indicator for saves done or not.
Another issue is that a few of the drops can be blind because of the slow camera scrolling (which also takes time to go back if far away from the original save point).
The first save does start rough compared to the rest.

Excellent maze, one of the best I have played. It just lacks an indicator to show you which saves you already took but otherwise very solid game.
