And the award for worst looking thing I've ever seen in any fangame ever goes to.... https://i.imgur.com/9hDHkP8.gifv This stage is genuinely something I'd make as a joke after a night of intense binge drinking, and I wish I weren't even slightly serious. Sincerely, I felt a slight urge to vomit while playing this. I had to step away for a few minutes and saw the room spinning. If you're photosensitive or have motion sickness, DO NOT play this. Thanks a lot for the warning, Joshua.

Jokes aside, this game is mind-boggling in all the wrong ways. It feels like someone's first game though it's obviously not.

The first seven or so stages are mediocre; not bad, not great. They're also incredibly easy. Like, 15-25 easy. Then after that, it shows you the least appealing thing you could ever imagine looking at (The thing at the start of this review) followed by a few more mediocre stages, and two really unfun bosses. If it weren't for stage 8+ I genuinely wouldn't see myself giving this game more than a 30 difficulty and less than 4 rating, but almost everything after that is so incredibly terrible it literally doubles and halves those scores respectively. I had to save hack past the final two screens in this area because I couldn't tolerate playing it anymore without making myself sick, and the screens aren't free either.

This game could've been decent, probably, if it weren't for essentially non-existent bosses, a difficulty curve similar to Mount Everest, and a stage that's genuinely so terrible to look at I'd prefer to stare at the sun for five hours straight. A swing and a miss, I suppose.

But hey, at least it uses The Beatles.

Quite a mixed bag of a game.

The game is set up in a very kermit inspired style, a couple of hubs each with a few different stages all with song picks that are reminiscent of the kermit style.

The game for the most part consists of a lot of fairly simple platforming with most stages revolving around a gimmick of sorts. While platforming being easy isn't a problem, what is a problem is the massive difficulty gap between a few of the bosses and the platforming, especially the final boss.

The bosses range from piss easy to extremely difficult and it just seems random when something is suddenly way harder than the rest of the game for zero reason.

The most glaring problems with the game come towards the end of the game. There is one stage in which the room is spinning and all the blocks randomly change color about every frame, and it's extremely painful to play and could be very seizure inducing. The final boss is split into two parts, the first part is an avoidance which requires a bit of learning which can get annoying, but if you're willing to stick it out you get to the true final boss. The final boss is a pseudo-medley of all the previous bosses in the game combined into one, and it's set up as an emperor miku type of fight, so a lot of phase switching and a lot of different attacks. The randomness on some attacks is quite ludicrous, especially on the stars, but the biggest problem with the fight is the hp and i-frames. The i-frames are way too long and encourage spam shooting instead of more strategic shots, and the hp is way too large and the amount of hp for each phase is too big as well, and it just drags out the fight for way longer than it should have any right to be.

So yeah a very mixed bag, I definitely see hope in future games from this maker so I hope this has helped in some way.

My only complains are that one hard save on the visual challenge stage, and few things about the final boss.

Final boss could use just a little less of HP on each phase, phase 2 attack could be reworked or changed so it can become an actual interesting phase instead of a phase where you find the safespot, stay still and shoot the boss while waiting for the i-frames to go away, and the one gray lines attack near the end could be nerfed. Also the one stars attack felt a little rough sometimes, but I can't really tell if it should be nerfed since I never found if it was pattern or RNG.

Great music choice by the way.
