Discover the Remains is an adventure game from the Fangame Dungeon event made by Klein and is somewhat decent but not really one of their best works.
It's pretty short and only consists of 3 mini stages and a boss at the end. Most of the saves do have their own special idea to them that adds variety to the game, but the problem comes from having traps near the end of almost every save. This is especially rather obnoxious for an event like FD since it just ruins their playthrough with repetitive segments. Two saves in particular come to mind in being particularly unfun, one involving rotating Pacman balls and another where a statue shoots fire at you down a corridor of spikes. The boss at the end is pretty decent though, and there's a neat avoidance where you have to control 4 kids at once earlier in the game also.
If you're bored or wanting to play a Klein game this is alright to try out, but it's definitely not that remarkable or memorable.

Rating based on nightmare difficulty.
Almost every save has a trap at the end, or traps sometimes, after all the hard stuff, there sure were some good things in the game but because of that I just couldn't enjoy this game.

Rating based on the Fangame Dungeon difficulty.
Fun little old-school adventure game with some cute gimmicks like the Locus size gimmick. A few saves were a little annoying at times, but don't hurt the game too much. The boss is cool with some fun attacks.
This is a cool game that more people need to play.

If the game looks good because of good visuals, gameplay doesn't really follow. It's far from being a disaster but the game is filled with minor annoying details that makes it not a very pleasant experience. A lot of gimmicks required a special care to not be tedious and it wasn't put in the game imo. There are some positive stuff like the boss or some rooms but overall it was very average.
