At first the game wanted to have 99 rooms, but after my college entrance exams I found that my inspiration to place needle was lost. At the same time I did not want to add levels I was not satisfied with in the game, so the game only has 27 rooms.
At the same time, I had a feeling that Monspike1 was better when placing needles, and this feeling has been bothering me for more than a year, so maybe it's best to end it just right.
As for the difficulty, I wanted to keep the route interesting and the graphics rich, and I wasn't able to reconcile them with the difficulty, so some of the rooms were too difficult, and I'm sorry if that affected your mood for the game.

I went into this expecting an enjoyable experience given the relatively high ratings, but I found myself enjoying very little of the game. A few saves were quite fun, and there were a decent amount of interesting jumps, but everything felt frustrating and awkward, and a few saves in particular near the end had me stuck for a long time. It's impressively long given the difficulty of the game, though I think that is very much to its detriment as it makes the whole experience feel like a slog as you progress.
As for other minor notes: the visuals are mostly nice with a few parts that had kill blocks that looked pretty similar to the regular blocks, and the shoot sound is weirdly bass-y in a painful way.

While most of the game was good, I can't help but feel it needed more testing and work. Several of the stages looked bland compared to the others, yes this game is minimalistic in design, but some stages were just barebones.
The needle is quite tough, for the most part it's well balanced and has nice structure, however as I kept playing I kept running into that one jump in a save that just killed progression and frustrated me. It's especially prevalent in the end stages.
