This is no typical needle game, it's weird needle made in GM8.2.
Cancelling not required, challenging vine maneuvers required.
It's only 6 screens but I wouldn't dare tag 'Short', for this game might cost about 2h.

Extremely fascinating usage of basic mechanics; feels fresh and original despite being "just" jtool needle at the core. You definitely haven't played anything like this before. Technically it's a short game, but it's hard -- and complex -- enough that you'll get your money's worth. Not that fangames cost money.
Would rate the difficulty ~5 points lower if not for the save where you need to release the jump input one frame after pressing right while on a vine. I found this extremely difficult to do consistently and ended up being walled on this save for a while.
