This game is rather insane. When you see review on the game that says "30~80 difficulty bosses" and screen with something like boss rush you know you onto something. My expectations weren't exactly high, but i was quite intrigued for sure
At the end, it payed off. This game is exactly boss rush of 12 bosses. All of this bosses are like really unique, not only between each other, just in general they are not something you can witness often. Probably the best way to explain this whole thing is just describe every boss one by one? Anyways, that's how i will do it. I will start with most adequate one and then it will go downhill. Soooooo
(I will count warps from top to down, from left to right. So top left is warp 1 and bottom right is warp 12)
Warp 4 - it's just BURST. Flash of pure energy. Explosion that leaves Big Bang far behind. Simply, it's just clown-fiesta RNG burst in vein of Lucky series. And yeah, this is the most adequate and probably easiest thing in the game. Not sure if it's 30 difficulty, but you know
Warp 8 - here you will encounter some very fast guy that running around floor. He will randomly stop sometimes and produce one of the 3 attacks. Later on, the fight will increase in epicness - now whole screen will be water and that guy will bouncing instead of just running. It was surpsingly way more fair than i initially thought, you can bring up some strategies here and in general it was pretty enjoyable clash
Warp 10 - rock, scissors, paper. In theory - yes it is this game, considering images of those is what will be on screen. But in reality those images doesn't make any sense, since if you try to beat your opponent by playing in a way that game works in real life, you will achieve nothing! Instead you just need to get lucky by praying one of the options will be correct. If you wrong - there will be some attack as punishment. It wasn't like bad overall, but quite stupid. And it was quite hard, because you need to use mouse to press on images while dodging shit simultaneously
Warp 5 - Bomberman. But actually... probably best Bomberman i ever meet in fangames. Gimmick is here that you can't shoot your main enemy, but you can instead place bombs like him (by pressing "X"). And somehow with that sort of gameplay this fight was very fun to me. Quite long and quite unfair in general, but still pretty enjoyable and like fun in dumb way. I always has a soft spot for PvP-style fights in fangames (Gustav, Doppelgangers etc.) and this is good example of this style
Warp 12 - it's very strange fight. You need to kill giant spike that will produce some aiming spikes on your permamently (in second phase this will become quite a threat). And while this will be main gameplay issue for you, the thing is there will be also floating triangle on screen, that serves no purpose except only being stylishly looking and ruins your attempts by entering your dodge zone. Question why is open to interpretate
Warp 2 - this is pretty funny one. It's classic giant apple with iconic design - you shoot - it becames smaller and produces some shit at the same time. Here it will be non-despawning wrapping apples. Yeeeeah, i think experienced players can easily say why this is cursed. I will not go deep into explanation, instead i will say this boss has insanely funny twist that catch me completely off-guard and it's probably actually one of the best traps i've ever seen in fangames - let me phrase it like that
Warp 10 - we are now entering unstable zone. This fight is what you can see on screenshot - you stay against Big Kid that casts bullets on you. There are three types of behavior patterns of this bullets, that you can determinate by sound replicas. The thing is while this fight in general is easy, last phase here is insane - frequency of spawn will be drastic to the point it's basically pure luck will you survive this or not. I managed to do it, and man this was a fucking wild ride
Warp 6 - fucking reference to Leehe Keep my Mental infamous gravity-switch attack? Hell fucking yeah! It was good attack in exactly that iconic style, and the good part it's now RNG so it was very enjoyable overall. Quite hard, like really hard tbh, but worthwhile. Oh, also there was very funny incident with me on this fight. So, i beat this boss while staying upside-down. Which leads to me immediately falling down on hub screen (where you get teleported after win each time) without even chance to hit the save. And the best part - game doesn't automatically saves your progress - you need to hit save, otherwise - beat it again, moron. And i did, and i give you fair warning - perform last hit while being in normal gravity. Don't repeat my soul-crushing mistake
From now on, the rest is what i didn't clear. And from my point of view all stuff beneath is not less than 80 in difficulty
Warp 3 - the only one that's like reasonable out of them. The presentation of this fight is insane - from very beginning you will be chased by fast apple that acts like Sonic basically. And every time you hit the main boss another similar apple will appear. So at around half of the fight there will be like 10 apples on your ass. While this seems completely fucked up from first look, i managed to develop decent strategies here and i actually feel like i can clear it if i give more time to this (and i probably will, because overall i really like this fight)
Warp 1 - japanese quiz that requires entering japanese symbols. That's all. Oh wait no - with each correct answer (around 10 questions here) there will be some needle jumps spawning here and there. At the end it will be like several corners, diagonals, 9-jumps and so on. Of course, everything in one go. How reasonable it is - well it's definitely doable. But honestly - eeeh, doesn't worth it. And again, the first sentence is already speaks enough for quality of this, lol. However, existence of this thing is still kinda funny to me
Warp 11 - completely unreasonable clown-fiesta of a fight that requires shit tone of luck (i'm lazy to describe that asshole, yeah) and solid mashing to get through. That's like fairly accurate description of this. But how it's not the worst, you will ask?
Warp 7 - because this. This fight is..... I don't sure it's like even doable for human. The thing is you will be here floating in one water bullet that bouncing around screen. In center there will be boss. After 5 hits this boss will start constantly snipe you with fast aiming and also there will be bounce apples spawning after each several hits. But the main part why this is like ??? is that your water bullet will eventually fly in the trajectory where it will be covered by boss sprite (that kills you) for a like solid amount of time, which will leads to death. Don't forget about aiming - even if you will pop off with stabilizing yourself and manage to overcome water issue, you will be still like with 95 % chance getting crushed by aiming. So, idk. Probably TAS can do it. Probably best players can do it. I can't
And that's how this game goes. Everything is very fucked up and even most adequate fights are genuinely unreasonable to normal human being. However, i had solid fun with majority of this game. It's rare example of game that filled with bunch of concepts, devoided by any testing, but still magically exists in form that's playable if you really into that kind of shit. And i'm not belittle of dangers, because at the end i still beat 8/12 of this bosses and had solid chances in few others, so overall i'm leaving pretty satisifed with myself and the game overall. Really wish this maker could put more effort in their future projects - by witnessing this game, i know you can do some high-tier shit if you want. For now tho, this game definitely obtain some pass to my heart. Play it if you wanna see how unhinged fangame experience could be
Update: I cleared warp 3 and didn't change my mind - it's cool thing. Warp 1 tho is even more cursed than i thought, so i give up on that shit. And warp 11/warp 7 - just no
