Of all the games that have been inspired by HB2, this comes the closest to feeling like it could be part of that world. For that reason, as I played this game I experienced an intense wave of grief. Grief for a lost time when I could spend days making strange and inscrutable works of art with my friends, and could drop them in a small puddle of a community, watching the ripples spread out. Now our community is more like an ocean -- deeper, vaster -- for better or worse. So things change, so things stay the same -- a game like this gets low ratings, and the maker wears their insecurities on their sleeve.
Oblique Torment is rough around the edges. But the fish boss and the 'Something is missing...' screens are oddly beautiful and promises, I think, of something greater. My overall reaction to this game is, obviously, personal -- but, I still think games like this have more to give than most other fangames. My main advice to the maker is this: exorcise HB2 from your system, but keep hold of the irreverance and creativity. Making fangames is tough work, and maybe people won't appreciate your work in the moment, but you will, hopefully, reach a point where you can look back and be proud of what you've made on your own terms. When you get there, it's worth more than any DelFruit review could ever say.

I Want, but it's actually great ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Seriously tho, concepts are awesome (town with dots and warfare breakthrough were honestly 10/10), one of kind experience, had a blast etc. One of the best sudoku i've ever played
P.S: Based on not using debug keys, because this game has debug keys???

There are a few times in my gaming career that I have popped off. There are, admittedly, many where I have yelled in frustration. There are even a few where I have cried. IwbtOT is the only game I've played that's made me do it all. Thank you, MooMooArmageddon.
Edit: realized that my experience with the game was more worthwhile than the game itself as I put it at 10. It's not very good, but it was important to me at least.

A fangame inspired by Hereditary Baldness 2 and Hereditary Baldness 2 Chapter 2. While there is clearly effort put into this game, it ultimately falls flat due to the obnoxiously long saves which in turn make some of the uninspired platforming more annoying than it would otherwise be. The part where you fly around and collect red dots seems cool at first, but like may other parts of the game, it suffers due to its length combined with the random unpredictability of the projectiles you have to avoid on screen transitions. The final boss has way too much HP which is probably intentional, but it still sucks. Also, the game apparently WAS tested according to the credits, make that what you will.
Overall, I'd say this game takes more of the bad from Hereditary Baldness than the good and I hope future projects focus more on the enjoyable design than presentation.
