As the original author of the GM8 YoYoYo engine, what I want to say is:
Don't use GM8 YoYoYo engine to make fangames now, especially older versions (<1.50). Please use renex engine instead, it has fewer problems and is more convenient :)

I don't think you can call this a new engine. This engine is slightly modified from GM8 YoYoYo Edition, there are only a few new backgrounds inside the engine and the author rearranged the sample room layout a bit, other than that I don't see anything created by the author himself, so if you can't download it because the netbook is in China, don't continue to be curious, you can just go and use GM8 YoYoYo Edition, other than that there are a lot more engines out there that suit you better!
