I made ooparts 3 because 1 and 2 sucked, and now I made this because o3 didn't age well.
I've been watching gmtk videos, playthrough of modern fangames and such to study level designs and it seems I still have lots of room for improvements, especially for needles.
Also, while I did taken extra stages seriously this time(unlike o3), I'll admit I went a little overboard with the extra boss. Sorry about that.

Based on 100 % clear. Well-maded adventure, platforming was honestly entirely fun and great to play - gimmicks are intuitive and varied, none of the saves felt out of difficulty curve. Bosses were also pretty enjoyable, some of them are very cool, some of them more faded, but they are still all very interesting
Secrets were harder to find than in OOPARTS III, but it's not a bad thing, since the way they hidden is good and i had a lot of fun with exploration part. EX stage, which is rewarding for obtaining secrets, is big improvement over OOPARTS III - here it's great stage with callbacks to all gimmicks - fun stuff. And EX final boss is hardest thing in the game, it's similar in design and difficulty to OOPARTS III EX final boss. I had some grips with pacing of this boss, but it was still pretty worthwhile and nice challenge
All in all, very strong adventure. It might be on simple side in terms of design, but honestly, why not? While many makers trying to pushing limit with some crazy stuff, which oftenly goes quite not great imo, Haegoe just mastering his own style and this game is coronet among his other games. You must definitely not miss this if you like adventures with old-school vibe, but in modern package

I like this game very much, but the BOSS at the last level is worse.

Difficulty exclude extra.
The ex boss ("Game Over" Boss) has been the WORST boss I've EVER played, it's at least 95 difficulty if the battle lasts only 30 sec longer, the RNGs of the second phase are literally TAS-oriented on which you have 90% chance to be completely blocked. This boss is genuinely the destruction of the whole game.
