I wanna get Freedom is a very brief, simple fangame that is a great experience if you're down to play a short little adventure game that includes bosses, simple platforming and a fun aesthetic to go with everything else! The one issue I have with this fangame besides the length would be the length of the bossfights; they are just a little bit too long for my liking. If you die once, you have to go all the way back to the beginning and it makes them feel like a bit of a slog to get through. Thankfully, I only died once on the bossfights overall so I didn't have to deal with this issue, but I feel that other players might not be so lucky. In general, I would still recommend I wanna get Freedom as it's a simple, fun fangame for beginners.

A very unconventional fangame with a gimmick i honestly thought i would hate, but was actually surprised with how well it was executed. As it is a secret santa game, its fairly short, but it has a good amount of content with 2 bosses. The first boss was pretty difficult for me, but i think thats exclusively a me issue as its pretty simple. The 2nd/final boss somehow took only 5ish minutes for me despite being a way more fleshed out fight. (I have seen a lot gameplay of it before tbf). Its not something for everyone, but its something everyone should give a chance.

I wanna spread my wings by Koslyn is such a charming fangame from start to finish. There's so many elements within the design that remind me of other platforming games I love to play such as Celeste and Super Mario World; I mostly got reminded of these two from Stage 1-B as well as Stage 2. Everything about this fangame is so interesting to me ranging from the various locations that our Kid explores through to all the little gimmicks that we're challenged to used in the different stages no matter how little they may be. The gameplay in this fangame is also fantastic due to how fair it is while still remaining somewhat challenging for beginner players. It's still challenging than most other beginner fangames below it, but it's not hard enough to where it's going to cause you to rage or give up playing. If you're a beginner such as myself and looking for a bit of challenge, I absolutely need to recommend that you play I wanna spread my wings; get out there and help Kid soar the skies above, I'm sure they would appreciate it.

This was the gift I got for the 2023 Secret Santa event. It was a pretty fun game with the limits of the Santa event.
First screen is trap based with a precise save in the middle that feels like a noesis-like with the trap platforming. Although, it's tougher then every save after. Then after beating on a fumo, you have 32-pixel needle with screenwraping that is kinda fun. The boss is pretty clever with a mechanic where you have to keep track of what attack will come out next based on how many balls Evil Santa consumes.
To make something like this was such a treat to play. Even if I didn't get a gift based off my theme, I will take this fun little time.
