Another fun Jane game. The visual and sound design is great as always, and it especially excels in the bossfights.
I think it would've gone over better in the Tourney if it was judged on least time instead of fewest deaths, as the latter promotes a pretty boring playstyle of safely shooting enemies from afar before you move forwards. Now that the Tourney week is over though this doesn't really matter, so feel free to go eat some slop.

Welp after 2000 deaths and 2 and a half hours (and me accidentally resetting my progress once) I completed my first gold!
Having not played the others in the series I really don't know how much it stands out but I absolutely loved the visuals with the pulsating spikes. The BGM was also pretty sweet knowing some of the songs and go mid-game "oh it's that song!"
However this was my first game in which I actually raged lol, after the dropper there's an insane difficulty spike which was evident by my lack of skill...
Other than that, fairly enjoyable and aesthetically pleasing challenge to go through!
