I absolutely loved the any% of this game, the gimmick is so fun and intuitive and the screens are all so creative and fun to execute, the visuals are beautiful, if it would only be for that I would give it 9.5/10.
But then you get to the... (I'll completely spoiler the second half of the game just in case) puzzles that you have to figure out, I honestly didn't like them much because it just kills off the flow of the game, and some of the puzzles didn't make much sense to me, especially red sign.
The secret item rooms are all memeish which I honestly don't like because it just kills off all seriousness just for the sake of being somewhat funny, which to me it isn't.
And then you get to the spot the difference part which I found to be absolutely brilliant because I noticed about the differences while I was playing the game normally, the thing I absolutely hate about it is the way the controls are handled, you are supposed to use pause to spot them?????? Why??? It could've been handled any other way, like shooting instead of pausing, it just doesn't make sense to me.
The last stage is pretty good, no complains there.
And lastly I didn't like the last boss much, it's not hard but some of the attacks have very annoying RNG, they can become a little bit frustrating.
Kinda sad about this because it just feels like I played two separate games, and while I loved the first half I didn't like the second half much.
I still recommend because the game is really good and super fun.

An adorable little game oozing with charm, consists of two platforming challenges and then a short avoidance. All of these things are pretty enjoyable, nothing mind blowing but it makes for a chill and fun game.

The platforming in this game is primarily based on dodging enemy attacks while doing simple jumps, which is a style I really love, combining needle and avoidance is always a great time. The boss at the end is pretty cool too, overall making this a lovely time.

For: How the Gimmick Stole Christmas
Gimmick needle game which encourages you to use some thinking, as the route through a screen may not always be obvious, especially as it progresses. I personally found trying to navigate the rooms really fun, and the gimmicks on display were fantastic. Definitely wish it was longer but loved what was there!

Awesome game where you explore an open map completing little objectives and collecting items, it's super fun to explore around and see what there is to do, the area you can play in is quite large considering this is a secret santa game. There's a lot of fun to be had here in a short amount of time.
