A short needle-adventure type game made in a week for the I Wanna Game Jam, with the theme "Time Travel". It's our first time releasing something of this scale, so we hope you enjoy!

Short avoidance that makes up for its length with some dense attacks that can be pretty tough. I have mixed thoughts on it, at times it really had me infuriated, while at others I was really enjoying it.
One of the main issues I have with it comes from some of the RNG it uses. There's a part where you'll be stuck in the middle and a heart will come down while expanding, you need to go through the gaps which can be random and sometimes way harder than normal (perhaps even impossible at times). I also despise how the ending is pretty much a guaranteed death unless you know exactly what to do, it's also pretty tight as well so be sure not to hesitate in the final three attacks. Besides this, there are some parts at the start that are patterns, which can be pretty simple to learn after trial and error. I thought the song was pretty solid, which is a plus when the avoidance is short and you'll be restarting it a lot.
I'd recommend it only if you're willing to deal with some pretty whack moments, as it certainly isn't enjoyable the whole time.

Very average 100f in the vein of blow game series, more or less empty room for the 3/4 of the game then having a bit more gameplay for the rest. Visuals are pretty good, especially first quarter, and I had a good laugh when seeing the stupid idea of making the b/w blinking. Bosses aren't too bad, even the classic troll one is somehow original. The last 10 floors are also actually pretty good, I wish there were more to play before them.
Don't really know why I played it, I knew what I was gonna play from the start, maybe a urge to chill though a very easy game.

Amazing game with some variety despite being short, it's very enjoyable gameplay-wise and I had good laugh with the story. The hand made visuals add a lot and don't do shit with the platforming which is honestly a relief considering that it has a lot of false 3D and not perfectly smooth edges. I just think final boss, despite being cool, is way way way too hard for such an easy game hence the diff rating.

Udon is a short avoidance that only lasts about a minute, and it doesn't really make a good lasting impression.
The main issue in this comes from the visual design, a certain effect coming from the ground really makes it hard to focus on the actual projectiles of the fight, which makes it pretty annoying to play. Added on to this are a few attacks that are just straight lines the sprite shoots which is kind of an instagib at points, and a pretty mean attack near the very end. Also, I didn't really care for the song, it's pretty boring and doesn't really go anywhere, which kind of makes it awkward for playing an avoidance to.
Overall, don't think I would recommend this one. It's pretty easy, but there's a lot more out there that you would enjoy instead.

It's truly hard to rate this because I'm not sure what I should be rating. I would say that this is a perfect remaster, it truly fixes all the actual bugs and crashes of the original game, and makes it suitable for actually playing again. If I was going to rate this based on the remastered aspect itself, I would say it's easily a 9, so that's what I'll give my rating through.
With that said, I now realize after playing this for my 500th fangame, I really just don't like OG guy. It is very obvious that the game has good parts in it that have influenced our own games for more than a decade, but it's also clear after playing those games that this has so many faults. The platforming is riddled with incredibly annoying segments, such as the Tetris section not having a save before it on normal, two Yoku block segments and a lot of platform rides you need to inch yourself through small gaps on.
The big elephant in the room though is the bosses, which are extremely mash-heavy. This game would legitimately not be playable for me if I didn't use an autofire tool due to having CTS in both hands. This also leads into probably the only complaint I have for the remastered, hence the 9 rating, I understand that it aims to be a mostly faithful replication, but holy shit do I wish they fixed this aspect. Because of this, I still think the game is just not good, and honestly still would not recommend it to anyone with hand pain or those against mashing. This was a pretty unfortunate realization for me.
With that said, it's hard not to show respect to a project like this, hell it's the reason we're all here today. If you want to play the OG Guy, then play this, and if you can't handle the boss mashing use autofire, it doesn't take away your win in my eyes.
