Pretty much the best music choices ever. Unfortunately the save sound drove me insane due to my jump key being Z and all the saves saving on Z press (which also saved me in the air.) I already told skulldude about this, and it doesn't happen on every save, but unfortunately a lot of the saves have the opening jump start from the save spot itself, regardless.
I think the game kinda overstays is welcome by the end, with water coming in out of no where almost like an obligation, but apart from that it's a damn satisfying game. There were a couple of saves that stuck out a bit, but nothing should really brick wall you. The saves are rather generously placed.
Do recommend.

Solid triggerish needle game.
I say triggerish because you rarely directly interact with the triggers immediately (as opposed to Rukito style where objects may come flying at you or the jump changes as you hit triggers), but rather than alter the path you follow afterwards. This makes it a bit more needle and a bit less dynamic than some other styles, but its all quite good. The visuals are simplistic but nice and easy to see, even with some effects.
Each stage has a boss - I wasn't the biggest fan of these, partially because of the design Largely due to a style of RNG distribution I dislike. One problem with this is refreshing iframes, which isn't the biggest deal but due to the fact that the refreshing iframes don't destroy the bullet, it triggers itself repeatedly and several attacks get triggered on hit which will hit every frame and basically instantly wall you if you overshoot. Its not a deal breaker, but it is stupid. Fortunately the bosses are not particularly difficult and won't stall you out that these kinds of things become annoying.
Overall its fun and I'd say the majority of the value is in the needle but with a couple little style changes up to keep things fresh. Worth playing for intermediate needle fans.

Because of the visuals later on I had a bit of trouble identifying what parts of the spike killed me and whatnot, so it made certain jumps in the game more difficult for me. Some of them were kinda dull or inconvenient as well, but overall it's not too bad.
