Yes. I did take my time to "beat" this game. "Beat" is quoted because Mokuteki left godmode in, which I'm not surprised to find out about. I remember perfectly when I downloaded this the first time, I was looking around for really bad games to piss people off, and I found this, and I already heard bad stories from Mokuteki like he was some kind of campfire story monster, so I decided why not. Whooo boy, it was exactly what I expected.
The screen picks are simply too bad, sometimes I even wonder if the games used are real. The music is completely taken from other games, mostly from Happil and Kamilia. The screen buffs are unreal, at some points I thought I was tripping from too much computer, but it was real. It was all real. Unbelieveable.
I might not be the best person in the community, but if there's one thing you gotta agree with me in, it's this:
This game is a steaming pile of dog shit. Even I would do better.

It's okay. I think it could have been designed a lot better. Removing functions such as moving left and jumping opens up interesting platforming (see the beginning of IDWBA2), but in this game you get those functions back in literally the first 2 seconds. I don't think the "unlocking" in this game is very meaningful, most of the time you're just "unlocking" gimmicks right at the first save that uses the gimmick. The platforming is okay, but I didn't enjoy much of it, since it's generally screen transition stuff or otherwise really, really long saves that aren't hard but take forever to get through since there's a ton of walking or waiting (like standing on a platform that slowly moves left through two full screens). There's also several gaps that require double full jumps and are easy to mess up, which just isn't fun.
I dunno. It's not a bad game at all, but I barely found any of it fun or interesting.

Three screens of generic needle with last screen being multi water gates. After that you do a avoidance with one attack that seems unfair compare to rest.

I just wish there were more action/adventure games like this. Excellent adventure game with action elements, good atmosphere, and creative level design.

After water area(which should have been a good place to finish the game), endless series of similar needles begins. Most of them are pretty good, but save placement was just awful. I could say this game has some sort of 'flat' difficulty curve, because the save difficulty is highly fluctuating.

No difficulty rating because I played on the difficult version with all secrets.
Surprisingly, I enjoyed this game a fair bit. The stages had some funny traps and fun platforming scattered throughout. The bosses were somewhat interesting but mostly nothing special. Final boss was fun but took a while due to bad RNG tree spawns and a large-ish amount of health.
Not sure I'd recommend this one outright, but for people who see the value in old fangames with low production value, it could be an enjoyable experience.
