For as much as this game annoyed me, only a legend in design like Dagger could have started like this. Really bold choices in platforming and avoidance design which really do not work for many players now, but that defined his highly creative mind since the beginning. He tried really crazy things that he ended up figuring out a really awesome style later on.

anyways, i wish i could give this game a higher rating but unfortunately quite a few screens are just a huge pain for me. however this is still a very excellent game and i think everyone should give it a try

Rewriting my review, since I cleared this game now. Basically, this game is a very rough barrage skill test, testing various reading situations - which sounds really fun, and it is. The only problem is accessibility. You will have insanely rough time with this game without proper patience and skill. And that's what repels people about this game. First three attacks are literally just patience test, since they are harder than second half of the avoidance, everything else is doable with enough consistency and skill. I really enjoyed this game, but my experience wasn't even good, I had 7+ final deaths. I despise my experience, but I still would recommend this game, just be cautious, that's it.
