As of writing this, I am only on floor 29 (because I am trash at needles). Take my review with an outrageous amount of salt. Because of this, I will not be giving a difficulty rating.
This game has a lot of things promising from the beginning and presentation. I watched some of the commentary videos on each floor. This is so I can understand the reasoning why some parts were made the way they were, and it adds some cool backstory to the floors too. I rate myself as a not-so-good needle player and my progress shows this. Currently, my favorite floors are the "Across the Neon Rainbow" floors as they use the line killers effectively and I had fun playing it. My only spoken displeasures of this game are the stumble floors as I experienced some sections being way harder than the others.
Overall this is a solid needle game with interesting fangame choices, minus some bad apple jumps scattered about. The game's music is really good, hosting a huge range of EDM genres.

Burnmind is the A-side
Freezemind is the B-side
Basically a remixed version of burnmind with its own unique ideas. I liked burnmind so I also like this game too. All of my praise for burnmind could be applied here. My only issue with this game is the delayed action "gimmick" in the Crimson Needle 3 area, god that was a pain. It is kinda oversaturated with a lot of visual challenges and some "lmao" humor, which is a shame since burnmind also did this and did it right. Honestly, it just does not feel right in this game. If you ignore some of these factors, it would be a fun gimimck-centric game minus the very wonky difficulty curve (RNG dependent). I am kinda sad this game tanked from "downgrade sequel syndrome" as it had a lot of good ideas, though the game has its upsides that raise the score a bit.
My favorite areas were the sideways gravity jump area, the endless walking area, the changing gravity vaporwave area, the slippery snow area, the planet area, the shadow-y bubby area, and the jaws-like area with the expanding and shrinking parts.

What an oddly abstract, but interestingly, fun game. Nothing else to say besides that. Liked the area using the moving parts with the black and grey colors, the "You Spin Me Right Round" area, and the high jump vaporwave area.

This review is based on a 100% completion of the game.
Fairly decent game for its time. I really like the aesthetic of being nostalgic retro.
Save balancing in this game is okay for the most part, but the saves get questionable in balancing towards the end. The extra stage also falls into this problem of having some saves being decent while some are not consistent.
I am giving this a higher score mainly because of the feeling, music, and visuals of the game.
