This game can be best described as a chill gimmick needle game with a fun but learny avoidance.
Then there is the Darkness level which is a speedrun level where you have to beat a moving wall before it sends you back to the first hub.
Try this out for a fun chill experience.

I wanted to say good things about this game. I wanted to say this game was misunderstood.
But no. It's shit.
Graphics: Mixed bag. Boshy and those random cats littered about the place look like shit.
The rest is mediocre. at least this uses the power of Shit-team Fusion 2.69 to look have meh-looking effects
Gameplay: Awful. It's clear that the wall-climb-jump thing was a glitch the creator was too lazy to fix. Jumps feel very reliant on rng for some reason, It isn't reliable at all. Most of the level design straight up isn't fun in the slightest.
Music: It's Okay. I don't have much to say about it.
It's clear that some parts were made with love, while some... weren't.

Review based on the easy version
Will give rating once I replay the English version since it would be unfair to give a rating without taking into account the abundant dialogue
The music choice is indicative of a person of culture :)
Gameplay wise, it's aged pretty well, so if you can put up with the old school design choices (restarting music, air saves, the occasional blind transition jump/end of save sniper spike) it's enjoyable
The bosses are the weaker part: half of them are too easy and the rest are long and tedious, especially the sixth boss (pro tip, bring both hands to 1hp, kill the right hand first and pray for good rng; the left hand respawns way faster)
The final boss is decent though

bad v-aligns, bad save balance, creator made it really hard to see where the hell do you need to go, because the gaps are squeezed for no reason, so you would think you can't fit through.

Fangames are challenging. But in what way are they challenging? Most are technically demanding. Others test our patience. But there is a small group of fangames that are, I think, psychologically challenging. I Wanna Walk to the Store being one of them. Frankie Teardrop being another.
It's a work of genius to transpose a radio challenge aimed at dissuading listeners from finishing a song into a fangame of the same nature. Marc's trademark deployment of symbolism is, of course, on show: the two spikes poking out of the grounds like twin graves to Frankie's wife and child; the imposing, but ultimately hollow heart; the slow walking speed. It's a minimal game, but an impactful one.
Marc asked me to play in a dark room with headphones on -- I recommend you do the same.
